Also, guess who came to the defense of the officials......Yup, you guessed it, Coach Sheban. Funny how the one coach who's getting some favorable calls go his way, comes to the defense of the ones handing them. LOL, you just can't make this shit up.
How could I forget ($1 to CNNSI):
Divot shot taken by CNNSI reporter, that's Peterson's left foot when he had possession

Maybe I should become a ref. I could get my children some paid scholarships for college, buy some new rides and even a new house. Thats what you call financial planning.
-
This certainly hasn't already been posted in another thread.

All of those pics are inconclusive!

No possession at the time of foot drag. This was the right foot. The refs were looking to see if the left foot was down. No evidence. Let it go.

Bullshit and you know it.

Yeah, I guess both hands on the ball and tucking it in while the left foot was still inbounds, before the right foot came down inbounds too, means that he didn't have possession....right? Dude, it was an interception, but thanks to the refs and the replay officials, no one will ever know if SPuat could've beaten LSU without their help.

If the Bama player touched the ball while he was obviously out of bounds, it's a mute point.

Zoom in on the wide angle pic. Hoolio never touched it.
It's a mute point anyway, but I felt it necessary to squash this rumor.
-
Does anyone know where the moot button is?? It's too loud in this thread.

Why do you people keep turning off the sound?

"a moo point, you know, like a cow's opinion...it just doesn't matter".

Let's say the refs got it wrong and it was in fact an INT how would the game had been different? At the time LSU was behind, Jarrett Lee looked crappy etc.

I understand this argument; however, I think most people don't grasp that LSU realized this too. Even though there was 5+ minutes left in the game. This drive was do or die. I don't think there's any doubt they would have been in 4 down mode from play 1 at their own 35. Plus, you have an offense coming out witha sense of urgency, knowing this was most likely the last shot.
Does that mean they would have got the job done? No, but it sure would have been nice for the proper call to have been made and the teams decide it on the field.
-
It's gonna turn. In a year or two we'll be ranked over Bama and LSU.

Agreed.

Maybe next year. Alabama is losing a ton this year.
