Title: I Just Watched Brian's Song For The First Time
Post by: AUChizad on December 27, 2007, 11:47:37 AM
And noticed a good quote.
(Paraphrasing)
"I was one of the best backs in the nation. The only problem was the best back also went to my high school. Scouts would come watch us play, but I never got to see the field. He got to go to Auburn, and I got to play for Wake Forest. Wake Forest ain't exactly center stage."

Which version did you watch?  The Billy Dee Williams/James Caan one?

And forget the quote. The bigger question is this:  Did you cry?

Yes the Billy Dee Williams/James Caan one is on TV.
Actually it's not over yet.
But I don't have feelings.

Okay, who cried when Old Yeller died?  Come on....

I've seen Brian's Song about 20 times.  Haven't gotten through it yet without getting something in my eye.  Darn stipling, always falling from my ceiling.  I gotta' get that fixed.

I think I'm allergic to the movie.  Every time I try to watch it, my eyes start watering and my nose gets all sniffish.  It has to be an allergy to that movie because when the movie is over it clears up pretty quickly.

Fuck you wes, you non-emotional rock.  (just kidding.....)

That's dirty pool there Jumbo....  Get's me too.  Just a plot.  ....and Extreme Home Makeover is bullshit!  They need to start rebuilding non-deserving people homes, so I can quit with the "warm fuzzy" shit, and start yelling at the TV screen.

That is all...continue...

Come on, the "sack" scene that really gets to you is the one in Brokeback Mountain. Just admit it. You'll feel better.

Brokeback makes him cry?  Or maybe just a soft whimper?
I guess a Roman helmet could make the eyes water though....
