Ok, watched this fight on Showtime.....Fuck, Taylor is looking like the same ole fighter his past several fights.  Starts off good and then runs out of gas.  He is making it really hard for me to be a fan of his.  Class act guy all the way and a hell of a right hand, but his conditioning is teh fail.

All he had to do was make it out of the 12th even after getting knocked down and he would have won the fight, title and another huge payday.  Now he has to go to the back of the line, start all over again and I won't get to see him fight.  Well unless HBO "BAD" or Showtime "ShowBox" sees fit to put him on there, but I am guessing Firday Night Fights in Memphis on ESPN2 will be the biggest venue he will be able to draw for a while.

I'm done with him, too. 14 fucking seconds and all he had to do was duck and cover.

Which is a fucking shame, he was one of the few Southern boys in boxing that was worth a damn and I liked.  I haven't missed a Taylor fight since his first fight with "B-Hop" when he took the title from him.  Another thing that pissed me off, when he knocked down Froch, he didn't have that killer instinct.  The Pavlik fight has ruined him.  He didn't go after out of fear that he would run out of gas and damn if he didn't anyways.  Reminds me of Roy Jones Jr (Joe Calzaghe fight last year) had his ass hurt in the first round and played it safe and got his ass whipped on the scorecards b/c he let him recover.  Saftey first fighter, which isn't a bad thing, but when your career hinges on this one fight, it's best to be aggressive.

<rant off>
