We all joke about it but these socialists are absolutely serious about that.  I made mention in an earlier post that I was watching "The Georgia Gang" this weekend and at one point the discussion segued into The ONE's idea to cut the F-22 Raptor program (which would effect thousands of jobs at Lockheed in Cobb County, Georgia)...the token leftist (socialist) on the panel said "well...maybe we should stop making weapons and killing people and start talking to them instead even if it does mean that some military contractors loose their jobs".  I was as flabbergasted as everyone else on that panel!  Of course they proceeded to 'splain to her that we need cutting edge technology and air superiority as our other fighters are more than 20 years old.

As I read that article knowing they are close, think about the fact that North Korea is ready to test a ballistic missile (which can strike the US btw), I can't help but be pissed off to a point that I can't even think straight.  What pisses me off more is that "Neo" has decided we need a $55 billion cut in military spending.  The first thing that goes when cuts like that are made is in places like Huntsville with missile defense and new weapons systems.  In a time where that might be useful to have, we are going to gut it, try to talk to these crazies that run the countries that hate us and divert that money to some socialist bullshit earmark in the porkulus package.  Is anyone else thinking that Jimmy Carter must be smiling knowing that someone is going to take his place as the worst president ever and not make him look so bad?
