Quotes from Keiwone Malone, '10 WR that commited to uat out of Memphis, after meeting Coach $.
"It was a good thing Mitchell junior wide receiver Keiwone Malone was wearing a Miami Dolphins cap when Alabama head coach Nick Saban dropped by Malone's high school for a visit last week.
Otherwise, Saban may not have taken too kindly to Malone's laughing at his small, Napoleon-like stature.
"I thought he was going to be a little taller. When he stepped out of the truck, he was so short to me, I just started laughing," said Malone, a 6-1, 165-pound junior standout who committed to Alabama on Thursday night.
"I just started laughing, because when I watch him on TV, he always looks kind of big."

And yet he committed to Alabama. So... I guess they get the last laugh?
This might have been worth three  if he'd verballed to Memphis or something, but it's hardly worth a single  since he joined the Tide.

What could equal at least maybe two  is Lance Thompson getting bitch slapped a day after saying Memphis is his Mobile and UT will own Memphis. Then we go and pull quite possibly the top WR in TN for 2010 24 hours later. The whole thing is really a win-win situation for UA.

I think it deserves at least one .
The guy completely disrespected his future head coach. Saban won't be happy about that. Actually, the  may need to be directed toward the kid since he'll probably end up running a few more sprints than everyone else.

Another reason it deserves a  is b/c NSD is another year away and no one knows exactly what any of these kids are going to do or if they are going to make it through their senior season.

I thought this was going to be a thread about Coach Bowden.
