Title: NFL Playoffs
Post by: Tiger Wench on January 18, 2009, 04:12:22 PM
Arizona and Kurt Whiner are kicking the crapola out of the Eagles - 21 to 6 late second quarter.  Whooda thunk it!

I think I was more surprised with them whooping Carolina last week!!!!  That was a serious WTF!   I'm lovin' this though.   I don't necessarily have anything against McNabb, but I sure am tired of hearing the "Poor McNabb" stories from the media every weekend.

By the way Wench, I got me a little promo at work this past week and I might be expanding my territory over to East Texas, Houson included.   I'll have to let you know when I'm coming so you can give me travel tips while in the area.  Never been there.

Pretty good for a coach that went 5-11 his first year.  Only 6-6 his second year to maybe winning the NFC Championship this year.

Will do.  Still in the early stages.  If I made a trip to Houston before mid-spring, I'd be shocked.

Don't look now, but the Eagles are trying to make a game out of this!  C'mon Cardinals! Damn!

Dude looked like he was having a seizure.

Everyone involved is okay, but it was a rough one.  After replay's it showed that it wasn't any kind of intentional helmet to helmet.  Legit hit.

That hit reminded me of the "Rosegreen Wallup".

I can still hear that hit in my mind - Junior nailed that guy.

If McGahee hadn't tucked his head, he would have been ok.  But he flinched when he saw the hit coming and that put his head in the way of the defender's shoulder/helmet.

Cardinals vs. Steelers in the Super Bowl, huh?  I think I can get behind the underdogs in this one and see if Kurt Warner can't get himself another ring.  Although I'm a big fan of Pittsburg's Head Coach Mike Tomlin, his attitude and coaching style, and how he would be the youngest coach to ever win a Super Bowl.

I saw this morning where McGahee is still being evaluated but he has full movement of his arms and legs and that the doctors declared him "neurologically intact".  Now you KNOW a hit was a big one if afterwards they declare you "neurologically intact".  Jesus.  Those guys hit each other at full fuckin' speed.

You were walking around Saturday and I'm not sure you qualify as neurologically intact.

I'm a steeler fan since youth so I am pulling for them.

However, there is no way I could pull for the cards because their players and announcers have all played the "we shocked the world" card which makes me want to vomit. I checked, the world is not shocked but you guys are douche bags for saying so.

I can say for certain that your life was in imminent danger Sunday morning on the way to breakfast, as I was far from neurologically intact at that point.

I would pull for the Steelers but Kendall is on IR and already has a ring.  Karlos and Rod both start for Arizona defense and I want them to be successful so it is the redbirds for me.

This is the correct answer.

A great point, indeed.  Did I ever tell my story about Rod?  I had Ethics class with him.  Would let him cheat off of every one of my tests during exams.  Not proud at this point, but found it ironic that I played a very minor part in a man getting to the NFL by helping him cheat in Ethics class, of all courses.

I actually thought about this but it's all water under the bridge at this point.  There's much more to be investigated in Tuscaloosa, anyhow.
