Title: Trying something new with AI
Post by: MitchellChase on September 24, 2025, 08:08:49 AM
Hi. I’ve been hearing a lot about AI chat experiences lately and I’m curious, has anyone actually tried talking to fictional or historical characters using these AI tools? How realistic does it feel when you have a conversation with someone who doesn’t really exist, and is it worth spending time on it for fun or learning? I’m wondering if it feels natural or just awkward like chatting with a chatbot.

Hey. I actually gave it a try recently, and it was way more fun than I expected. I used Talefy and picked a mix of fictional heroes and historical figures to chat with. At first, I thought it might feel robotic, but the AI really stays in character and reacts like a real person would. I spent a couple of hours https://talefy.ai/characters just asking random questions, roleplaying, and even joking around, and it felt surprisingly immersive. Honestly, it’s kind of addictive once you start seeing the personalities come alive, and I’ve already recommended it to a few friends. It’s a weird but fun way to unwind and explore ideas.
