Despite what everyone thinks about ESPN, their politics, etc., if you watch sports, you still watch that network. There are certain personalities/analysts that I like. Ryan Clark (Absolute favorite foosball analyst), Dan Orlovsky. JJ Redick to name a few. Quite a few I turn off every time. Screamin A Smith, Kendrick Mushmouth Perkins…
They’re currently going through a shake up with their talent, and letting a bunch of them go. In what they’re terming a cost cutting move, 20 are being let go, including, Jeff Van Gundy, Jalen Rose, Suzy Kobler, Max Kellerman, Keyshawn Johnson, Matt Hasselbeck, Steve Young, and Neil Everett. However, they decided to sign Pat McAfee to a five year, $85 million contract. McAfee has been on Game Day this past year, and to me, brings nothing top the table. I’d rather listen to Finebaum up there.
I Google Chromed ESPN personalities/analysts, and was blown away. At first, I was surprised at 20 people being let go. Then, I saw just how many people they employ as their talent. 20 is an absolute drop in the bucket.

Eh...fuck 'em. Sports talking head is about the most useless role in the universe of sports entertainment. They're all equally worthless. I don't watch Sportscenter anymore or any of the shouting-matches-parading-as-debate, so if it's not a live broadcast, I don't need to see 'em. And even then they serve as much purpose as my appendix.

I would like to provide consolation services to Suzy Kolber.

I’m like to freeze the TV picture on Suzy and crank stereo up Michael Jackson Beat It. Just beat it.

Just saw that as they take the hatchet to these on-air personalities, they also give raging assclown and absolutely worthless Pat McAfee $85 million.
Why? He’s a moron.

He’s gained a pretty large and loyal following in the podcasting industry, so it makes good business sense in theory. I personally think he is an obnoxious ass clown.

Right on cue, here's Stephen A. Smith.
Oh, they probably gonna fire me, too. Cause they RACIST.
That's all he knows. He's made incredible money by being nothing more than an uneducated loudmouth who paints everything with a racial patina. He should have been fired years and years ago, but wasn't. Mostly because he's black.
I hope they do fire him. Not because he's black, but because he's a boob without anything to say.

Your reasoning doesn’t matter. The SCOTUS ruled last week that all blacks must be fired. Charles Barkley is pissed.
