"I think mother nature just pissed her pant-suit!"

I'm so excited about this possibility.  Let's just have ALL of the fucking Clintonistas back...where's Janet Reno?

Just pour the salt into the deep gashes of my political wounds...

CHICAGO - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is among the candidates that President-elect Barack Obama is considering for secretary of state, according to two Democratic officials in close contact with the Obama transition team.

Clinton, the former first lady who pushed Obama hard for the Democratic presidential nomination, was rumored to be a contender for the job last week, but the talk died down as party activists questioned whether she was best-suited to be the nation's top diplomat in an Obama administration.

The talk resumed in Washington and elsewhere Thursday, a day after Obama named several former aides to President Bill Clinton to help run his transition effort.

know a lot of you out there aren't going to believe this, but we really didn't have anything against Senator Clinton until this latest ridiculousness.

We've all exaggerated here or there. No one can spice up a good war story like an old soldier, marine, sailor or airman. But usually we just make the women hotter, the guy we fought a little bigger, the odds a little more overwhelming, the first sergeant a little more angry, and the punch line a little funnier.

We do not fabricate an entire experience in our lives to make us somehow seem like a war hero. We don't do this, for two reasons:

1) It is a gross distortion of the truth for personal gain, otherwise known as lying.

2) We actually know the guys and gals that are heroes - that have been in harms way, and in some cases have even given their lives for the nation. To pretend to have been dodging sniper fire, running down the tarmac is grossly disrespectful to those men and women that have faced that situation.

Furthermore, I just took a quick straw poll of all the people that I know that have been shot at. I also took a straw poll of all the people that I know that have not been shot at.

Guess what? No one that hasn't been shot at thinks they ever have and everyone who has been shot at remembers it rather distinctly.

Prior to this incident, I'd say Senator Clinton was a very sharp, tough, and surprisingly moderate candidate with all of her husband's skill for understanding the subtleties of international politics, but with the balls to actually make things happen. She wasn't my number one, but I didn't hate her.

Now I just think she's a f*cking liar.

Vote for anyone else.
