An Alabama (https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/us-regions/southeast/alabama) man turned himself in to police Friday after he was accused of punching a victim, causing his eyeball to fall out of its socket, before throwing another jab â€“ destroying it in the process, police said.

Justin Wesley Leverett of Mobile was wanted in connection with assault that occurred Saturday afternoon, police said.

The Mobile Police Department said in a statement that during an argument the suspect â€œpunched the victim in the face causing his eye to pop out of its socket.â€

Justin Wesley Leverett, 37, of Mobile, Ala., was accused of punching a victim, causing their eye to fall out of its socket, then punching the eyeball again â€œcausing it to explode,â€ police said. (Mobile Police Department)

â€œThe suspect then punched the eyeball causing it to explode,â€ police said. Authorities asked the public for their help with any information of Leverettâ€™s whereabouts before announcing Friday that he turned himself in.

I think it was just a matter of two people not being able to see eye to eye on something.
