This is setting up to be a fun few months. The hysteria from the left will be epic. I just hope the Republicans grow some balls and do what needs to be done in the confirmation process.
Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy to Retire
WASHINGTON — Justice Anthony M. Kennedy announced on Wednesday that he will retire this summer, setting in motion a furious fight over the future of the Supreme Court and giving President Trump the chance to cement a conservative judicial philosophy on the American legal system for generations.
A critical swing vote on the sharply polarized court for nearly three decades, Justice Kennedy (https://www.nytimes.com/video/us/politics/100000005978939/watch-remarks-from-justice-kennedys-swearing-in.html), 81, embraced liberal views of gay rights, abortion and the death penalty even as he helped conservatives trim voting rights, block gun control measures and unleash campaign spending by corporations.
His replacement by a conservative justice — something Mr. Trump has vowed to insist upon — is certain to reshape the country’s legal landscape and could imperil a variety of landmark Supreme Court precedents on social issues, like abortion, where Justice Kennedy frequently sided with his liberal colleagues.
The ideological shift caused by Justice Kennedy’s departure could leave Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr., himself a reliable conservative appointed by George W. Bush, as the decisive vote on a court whose other justices may soon include four committed liberals and four die-hard conservatives.

I fully expect the most epic meltdown ever. Heads will explode. Cardiologist are going to be super busy come September time frame with a swarm of new patients.
Then again, they may riot and set entire cities on fire.

If this crone would just follow in his wake? Would be amazing.

And then if there were a real miracle we'd get rid of this angry bat:

I know it's too much to ask, but if those two could drag this young gentleman out with them, it would be the ultimate in epic-ness.

Clarion calls already out on CNN, MSNBC, USAToday, etc. for the Senate to try to delay confirmation until the Democrats win control...
Just my opinion, but the prospect of that happening will put an end to any potential "blue wave." People on the Trump side who might not otherwise have voted will get out once again to see if they can make a difference and keep the Supreme Court from tilting to more moonbatty.
Despite what the media, Jimmy Fallon, Colbert, Maher and those assclowns want you to believe, there's WAY more of us than there are of them. We're just quieter about it.
Having this out there will be an energizing factor for a group that far too often feels helpless.

Just so everyone is clear...some of y'all are perfectly fine with a man, that's under investigation for participation in the biggest political crime in US history, being able to choose his own judge (judge that'll take a seat in his case) with less than 120 days until elections? When the last President (not under any investigations) was denied the right to nominate one, 9 months before elections.
Yes or no answer is fine. I don't want to hear any garbage Briebart/FoxNews/InfoWars/Sean Hannity/National Enquirer (these are the sources that some of y'all consider "not fake news"...seriously)

You’re a moron.
Im okay with Trump replacing Kennedy. I’d be okay with him replacing Ginsburg, sota, Meyer and Kagan too.
The biggest crime was perpetrated by Hillary. It’s being perpetrated by the “investigation†which is nothing more than naked fear from the status quo — both sides.
Trump isn’t the enemy. Fools like you are the real threat.

As always, misleading and leaving out facts.
But hell yes I’m good with it. Shove your pen and phone up your ass!

I won't even address the investigation/butt-hurt attempt to oust Trump. But here's an honest question with no bias toward either side. What could the Russians have possibly done to influence this past election? Rarely has there ever been two more polar opposite candidates. Rarely has there ever been more pure hatred by the general public towards two candidates. People were either firmly behind their choice and against the opponent, or they disliked both of them so much that they either abstained or wrote in someone else.
Was there anything that another country could have done that made ANYONE in America go, "Well, I thought I liked Clinton, but I guess Trump is the better choice"? In fact, whether they were influenced in some way or not, did you ever hear of anyone actually saying they changed their mind?

The lawyers on the board can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure nobody on the Supreme Court would be hearing any case like this.

You know what the Russians did to "fix" the election? They ALMOST got the truth about Billary and the Kill Clinton Foundation out in the open.

The assumption is that Trump will challenge the impeachment or attempt to pardon himself. Those issues would likely end up in front of the Supremes.

That I get and thank you for clarifying. It sounded as if he was saying the Supremes were going to be hearing all the coke and hooker cases.

Didn’t say it was. Merely questioned the basis of your assumption.
You didnt engage in a thought process. You made a blanket statement “the assumption is..â€.
That’s either your assumption or you’re speaking in generalities. The only place you find “the assumption†is in the whackadoo furrows where Prowler gleans his insights. If it’s your assumption, on what is it based if not these same moonbats?
this wasn’t some intellectual exercise. You showed your biased predisposition with a meritless assumption which also assumed the whole world sees things the way you, Maxine and Trevor Noah do.

Trump's pick for Supreme Court? Brett Kavanaugh.
The same Brett Kavanaugh that said this back in 2009 arguing that..."presidents can't be criminally prosecuted or sued in civil court." And, "the indictment and trial of a sitting president would cripple the Federal Government."
Again, a President that's under FBI investigation and the subject of multiple civil lawsuits, just nominated his own judge to protect him from both.
-
Ingredients
- iceberg lettuce (optional)
- tomato (optional)
- red onion
- tabasco sauce
- dog hair
- green pepper
- olives, 8 oz can
- whole dill pickle
- corn (whole kernel)
- raw carrot
- raw cucumber
- peanuts, shelled
- 1 lb Grade-A Ground Turd
- Hot Dog or Hamburger Buns
Preparation
1. Gather small bowl, cutting board, kitchen knife, skillet, sauce pot.
2. Cook turds
a. Turds may be smoked, deep fried, oven-baked, sauteed or flame grilled
b. Do not let turds marinate for more than 24 hours before cooking
c. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder or garlic salt to taste
3. Wash vegetables.
4. Slice or dice onion, pepper, olives, pickle, carrot and cucumber
5. In a small bowl mix diced vegetables with dog hair, 2 tbsp tabasco, and shelled peanuts. Stir until blended.
6. Slowly blend in cooked turds, stir until mixture is slightly firm
7. Slice the buns.
8. Spread the buns firmly but gently
9. Smear vegetable/turd mixture on buns forming a patty shape (approximately 1.5" thick)
10. Add mayo, ketchup, mustard, salad dressing, lettuce, tomato and cheese as desired
Eat immediately, punk.

Hmmm, So you use your credit card to buy tickets to a sporting event for a large group and the they reimburse him and he pay off his credit card? What a fucking novel concept. That alone should disqualify him. Can't have a logical thinker on the Court.

See, prowlers kind just know how to rack up the bill. It just gets bigger. They never pay it off. Look at what his hero - Barry the stupid Muslim - did for 8 years. Doubled the debt. So yeah paying off a debt is quite a foreign concept for these morons. Numbers are stubborn.
