I'm heading down to the sugar sands of the panhandle this weekend for a week. Probably stop on the way to let snags buy me a landshark while we giggle at waitresses skirts being short.
I kicked mine off this past weekend hitting the chesney show at the new dirty byrds stadium. I know GF did the same in south fla a couple of days before.
Have to say both the concert and venue were impressive. The acoustics? Not so much. They gotta work on that.
Since Memorial Day is in the rear view where are all you degenerates leaving your mark this summer? Anyone going to Fiji ? Can I come?

I've got too much crap going on at work during June, especially the last week. But I was looking at the first two weeks of July and possible Caribbean destinations. We were looking at that for Spring Break but a travel agent told us that so many of the possibilities had been hammered by the hurricane and were still in recovery mode. Probably wind up on 30A again, which is OTAY with me.

It definitely is. Shore Thing. I smoke a cigar about every 5 years. Found one in there that was gold, Jerry. Great ventilation in there as well. It's located in a cool little venue in Water Sound. (I think I told y'all Water Color the other night.) A lot of shops, restaurants and an area for outdoor movies etc.

Going with the wife out to Colorado for a week to see her fam, then stopping off in NWA on the way back to see mine. Only bad part of moving away from the folks, they expect you to visit whenever you have vacation time. Might go over to the DR late in the summer, but the wife's cousin who drives us around over there is about to become a dad for the first time, so we may put it off till xmas so he doesn't have us in his hair in the middle of dealing with a new kid and a just gave birth wife.

If you are in PCB, cruise on up to Lynn Haven on 77. Right before you hit the West Bay bridge on the right is a little family joint called Simply Seafood. Only steamed, broiled, or boiled. Awesome food. Really good shrimp and grits. Great plate of low country boil. Great desert. And very reasonable price. And when you leave, you can get two bags of ice for $2 to cover your beer. I will be back.

I had alligator tail at Bayou on the Beach. It was tasty. And once i put the buffalo sauce on it, boom! They have oysters 8.99 during happy hour. I did not get a chance to try them though.

Just got back from Alaska "The Sunshine State"...GLORIOUS! and Seattle. Alaska was pretty fucking amazing although if I ever do it again I would want to go by land and not a cruise, just not enough time.
Seattle pretty cool city, lots of Chinook wannabes walking around. Whole town smells like Wes's house. Never been checked out more by a bunch of dudes than at an XGate.
