Morons.

Sad day for America.

For all the hem hawing around for at least 4 fucking years about healthcare I'm beyond pissed that they didn't have a fully functioning plan ready to go at day 1.  I'm sick to death of politicians.  I had hopes and dreams shit would change but I just don't think it will.  Much like I told the democrats under Obama, politicians are going to be politicians and nothing is really going to change.

As someone that is directly affected by Obama Care (see $1300/month premiums for a shitty bronze plan with a $7000 deductible) I can't describe how fucking pissed I am at the Republican congress.  They know what they need to do, dismantle Obamacare and let the free market take over, but they are too scared of their own political future to do the right thing.

If you really believe in free markets, vote for them and let the chips fall where they may.

FUCK EVERYONE IN CONGRESS today.  They should all be FIRED

I'm not yelling just yet. The current plan is not the best solution. And at least congress ahd sense enough this time to not just force it n to see what was in it. Let them take a bit more time and make it a better solution.

And I hear you guys that are getting screwed. But there is no reason to force shit on top of shit.

It would be nice to see them just REPEAL the shitfest that we have today, but we know that's not gonna happen.

And let's be fair, nobody but one person was working on a new plan. Hell, most of the RINOs in there now were thinking hiitlary would be president.

The best move would have been to remove it entirely.  I had a conversation today with a staunch liberal and a diehard democrat.  Even she acknowledged that Obama's entire plan was a decided shift toward socialism and one she was never comfortable with mainly because a) it was not well thought out, b) they never considered the long term consequences and c) it was bound to financially destroy the middle sector of the public which would bear the costs.   She said she would rather just pay the fine -- which she said was unconstitutional -- than be forced to buy something she couldn't afford that didn't provide much in the way of real coverage.

She said she considered voting for Trump just because she believed he could get rid of it and give the country a chance to back up, review it and come up with something that actually met the real needs, not something that was going to make a select group rich.

So here's a liberal democrat who spent this morning hoping that if nothing else Obama's stinking turd would be removed.

To me, that's encouraging.  It was nice to hear a very liberal dem make rational observations without resorting to the wes-ian "There's a national crisis we must address" hyperbole.

All I know is it's got to go.  If the moronic politicians would look at the reasons Trump was elected, they'd understand that they could strengthen their own positions by fully supporting the repeal of this wheelbarrow full of hurl known as Obamacare.  Instead they get scared by the shrieking coming from the fools at CNN, MSNBC, etc.

We really do need to drain the swamp.

I'm almost to the point that I'd prefer that the congressional positions be chosen by lottery.  Just like juries.  No more career pols.  You're eligible to serve, maybe you have to agree to serve and if your name is called, you go.  I know I'd put my name into the lottery.  Couldn't be any worse.

So, hopefully back to the drawing board for TrumpCare. They need more than 8 years to come up with a better solution that doesn't put a large percentage of the population at risk...smh.

"It’s an unbelievably complex subject. Nobody knew health care could be so complicated." - Trump

They just need more time...

Can't repeal it entirely unless you have a super majority. The GOP does not. It is indeed very complex.

Yes. I know.

Doesn't change what would have been best.

When you get off the teet, your opinion might mean more on this subject!

As good as Paul Ryan is at the wonky shit he's terrible at the common sense communicating. No one really knew what the big plan was. We're gonna do this first. This is why. Then we're gonna do this next because of this. Etc etc. He and the GOP should have carved out an hour on 2/3 major networks in prime time and laid this shit out. Even a debate on it with someone like Mike Lee or Rand Paul who had counter plans. But none of that happened.

There's going to come a time when you realize I am not, nor have I ever been, "on the teet". I want what's best for the American people...this Trumpcare was a disaster.

The left has already won no matter what. It has been decided that healthcare is a right for the government to provide for the people. Trying to take it away now is going to be extremely difficult no matter how much ACA blows up...
