Title: Two Interesting Quotes
Post by: Townhallsavoy on September 14, 2008, 09:32:34 AM
Tony Franklin has been quoted - "We made the decision to go with Chris, and I don't think it is Chris' fault," said Franklin. "I didn't see Chris making mistakes. He had probably one or two bad plays in the game."

Tray Blackmon has been quoted on how he stopped MSU's momentum late in the game - "I saw ball and hit ball."

Franklin is loopy from some type of virus and huge amounts of medication.  That must be it. 105 degree fever and all.

It is becoming increasingly apparent that Franklin will go to any length to protect Chris Todd.  He's acting like a Pee Wee League coach who's son is the QB.  It's frustrating to watch.

If he refuses to acknowledge the obvious, he needs to be fired.  Now. Not at the end of the season. NOW.

Maybe it was Ryan Pugh's fault that Todd fumbled the snap.  He must have snapped it too hard.

Maybe it was Montez Billings' fault that he had to come back to catch the ball.  He obviously just ran too fast.

Maybe it was the receivers' fault that Todd threw the ball in vacant areas (or areas of MSU players).  The receivers were just running wrong routes.

As we all know, Todd is a Tony Franklin System guru.  He would never make a mistake.

This is beyond laughable.  If this shit keeps up next week, we will be the laughing stock of college football.

Another good quote was from Mcfadden in his post game interview he was talking about how he made that play. Said something about how he was watching close for the stop and go and they did it but he lost a step on the possible stop part of it and had to make it up and play the ball, said he "saw the receiver eyes get real big, so I knew the ball was coming" then told how he made the play by tipping it away from the receiver and realizing he was heading the wrong way but getting his feet down. Thought it was cool.

Lets all hope CTT can help franklin remove his head from his ass on this entire qb thing that seems so confusing to him.

I'm glad to see Tray likes to keep it simple.

Actually you guys already are.
You have to admit, it's embarrassing.
Especially since you all have been poking out your chest all summer about the ''guru'' Franklin and how aubrin is going to hang 30 and 40 on everyone this year. Some of you people brought this on yourself.
Funny that now this ''greatest offense in the history of football’’ is a ''process''.  According to most of you only the delusional ''bammers'' had a ''process''.
This is just the beginning of a much bigger picture that is taking shape.

Hey look on the bright side, you guys already have almost two recruiting classes counting your commits this year, unless they decide to jump ship, :poke:       that are built for this ''spread eagle'' offense.
Yea TT is sticking it in good.

Even Auburn's offense could have racked 41 on Western Kentucky and posted ..... well.... SOMETHING on Tulane.

Sweep your own porch, dumbass.

Ok ,now your being ,what is it you people call it??  ''delusional''?

If you people would have worried in the off season about your own porch, maybe you wouldn't be so surprised that your ''high school'' offense isn't working like you all had thought.

Delusion defines Bama fandom for the past 20+ years.  And if you think AU wouldn't have posted 41 on that dreadful WKU team then you are drunk on koolaid.

Somebody's been drunk on kool-aid alright and still is. Look in the mirror. You shouldn't be so sure that your ''savior'' ,Franklin, can hang any scores on any team. You haven't proven anything except that your offense sucks and the mighty ''savior'' isn't crack up to be what you all had annointed him to be.

>1 point = win against MSU.

2006. 16<24 does not equal a win against MSU.
2007. 12<17 does not equal a win against MSU.

Thus, Mathematics for Football 101 is concluded and you have earned three undergraduate hours from the Tigers X Institute of Technology, which is transferable to the University of Alabama at no cost.

I guess we'll see what the Julio "Jesus Christ" Jones can do on 15 November against MSU.
I know it is a stretch that UAT might have a winning record going into November, but UAT might still have a relevant record/season going and the game might be on TV.
