Mike Hubbard's lawyers want the names, addresses, IP addresses and other information related to some of the "commenters" under articles on al.com.
If the judge rules they are compelled to provide this information? That's a slippery slope full of dangerous rocks and deadly cliffs.

What would they do with it? Fuck Hubbard and his ilk.

Terrifying. And another example of shitty corrupt politicians and lawyers in the state of Alabama.

Kaos dies if the court compels them to provide the info.

Guess it depends on the reasoning. Death threats, exposing sensitive info, exposing case info that isn't public, things along those lines. Maybe. Just not liking the comments? That's a most definite slippery slope of totalitarianism. And I hate that it's Hubbard doing this. Until all of this I liked the guy for the most part.
