Against my better judgement I watched part of the RNC last night on MSNationalBarackChannel. Mostly it was "hate", "hate", "hate", "blame", "blame", "blame", "evil Bush administration" this, "incompetent" that (as GarMan is quick to point out) along with bull dyke and former Clintonista commentators but it was worth it for one moment which left me guffawing.
This is a video of the leftist media elitist "journalist" Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC last night at the end of the RNC; she was reporting from the floor of the convention but, unfortunately for her, she was deluged in red, white and blue balloons which left her unable to really make a respectable report (not that she could anyway). I was laughing so much I could hardly hear what she was saying but my own commentary was her saying "Help! Help! I'm drowning in patriotism!" at which point I actually heard her say something about "patriotism" which made me laugh all the more!
I don't know if any of yall will appreciate this video or not but I was laughing so hard watching this that I could hardly breathe (yes, it's from the Huffington Post but MSNBC took their copy of it off their website; you'll have to follow this link and scroll down a little to start the video; I can't get it embedded in this post) Enjoy:

Things that occured at the RNC that you didn't see or hear at the DNC...
1. The attendees actually chanted "U - S - A". (The nerve of them...)
2. American flags were seen throughout... (Fascists!)
3. Several speakers ended their speeches with "God bless America". (Religious zealouts!)
Things that occured at the DNC that you didn't see or hear at the RNC...
1. Everybody's a victim! (Me-me-me...)
2. Government's the answer! (Here comes the spending...)
3. It's everybody else's fault... (Here come the taxes...)
4. An unreasonable defense of their past records and direct attacks on their opponents... (No class...)

Here's something that you didn't see at the DNC; this is a 2 minute video simply called "Service" (narrated by Robert Duvall):

Was that Keith Olberman commenting at the end?
Did he really say, "the political equivalent of a Chuck E Cheese?"
What a dick. I can't fucking stand that asshole.

Yeah, that was Keith. It saddens me. Keith and Dan Patrick defined Sports Center. That combination was sheer sports perfection. But now he's just a pontificating windbag.
MSNBC got a scathing letter from Kaos in reference to his asshattery. But I hope he keeps it up. It's going to backfire.

Kaos!! Look what you did!! Per Drudge:
MSNBC drops Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews from anchor chair... David Gregory will anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night.... Developing...
Good job, dude!!!

But in the past two weeks, that line has been blurred. On the final night of the Republican convention, after MSNBC televised the party’s video “tribute to the victims of 9/11,” including graphic footage of the World Trade Center attacks, Mr. Olbermann abruptly took off his journalistic hat.
“I’m sorry, it’s necessary to say this,” he began. After saying that the video had exploited the memories of the dead, he directly apologized to viewers who were offended. Then, sounding like a network executive, he said it was “probably not appropriate to be shown.”
