Texas 23-17 over Baylor. Texas got up 20-0 after a first quarter brawl and held on.
Houston defeats Temple 24-13.
Gumps should win easily but you never know. Well you do, but you are just old enough to know better.
-
7-2 Florida after a 85 yard Calloway punt return for TD.
Not much running room or conversions for either team.
-
This is what happens when you have two really good defensive teams that have bad QBs.
-
Very entertaining though. Ridley might be the best player on any field...seriously!

Coker is playing well. UF's D is just bringing it!

15-7. Tre-Fuck Harris...easy roll out...TE breaks open with nobody within 15 yards. Easy pitch and catch...nothing but green. 15-14. Nope. Tre-Fuck's throw is out of his reach. Next play. Slant to Robinson. Easy pitch and catch. 15-20 yards. Nope. Robinson drops the ball.
Same story. Just be half way adequate on O and you beat this team. Ain't gonna' happen. Tre-Fuck is a 6th grade QB. The rest of them are re-fucking-traded. And GAWT DAMN, the refs are not going to make a call against Bama.

Anyone watching the Clemson/UNC game? Clemson had 4th and 15 from their own 30 and their punter decided to fake the punt all on his own. Never even made it back to the line of scrimmage. Dabo went apeshit on that guy, and then after UNC scored a TD a few plays later, went to the bench and went apeshit on him again.
16-14 UNC with 2 mins till halftime.
-
Holy cow, UNC just got SCREWED!!
-
UNC just got totally robbed. 45-37 Clemson with a little over a minute left, UNC scored and was kicking an onside kick. They actually recovered it, but a flag was thrown for offsides. The only problem is the closest guy to the line of scrimmage was 2 yards behind it. Real speed, slow motion, multiple angles, it doesn't matter.......wasn't even close to being offsides.
Clemson wins.

Wasn't even close, man. I thought Fedora was going to stroke out.

That was absolutely the most terrible call I have seen that directly changed the outcome of a game. THE WORSE! Wow, just Fn wow. There was not one UNC player offsides on the kick.
-
Preset win. The Announcers just glossed over it. Clemson was supposed to win!

I've never believed shit like that, because it seems so far-fetched, but:

Wow.

Nobody was even close to jumping off sides on the onsides kick.

It didn't even look close watching it live. I really don't see how you fuck that up unless it's intentional. It's the only explanation I can think of.

Acc wanted an undefeated Clemson to enter the playoffs #1.

Duke and Miami's 8 laterals on Halloween want a word with you.
Just to play devils advocate, who is to say unc would have scored? And at best with a 2 point conversion they tie it.
But yeah it was a horrid call and assured the playoff committee of a very easy decision.

Same officiating crew, apparently. Why they would be working the ACC Championship game is beyond me.
There's no guarantee that UNC would have done anything with the ball, but seeing as how they had scored 21 points in the second half, had the momentum and made it a game after a 19 point deficit it would have been interesting to see.
-
didn't the flag come from the official on the far (Clemson) side? on that side all the guys out to the kicker are obviously well back behind the line - the other side is not really his to call
-
The ACC big wheels and officials just gave the term "Clemsoning" a whole new meaning.

I said that I ever saw and I didn't see that lateral play. I didn't say UNC would have scored but they were sure as hell robbed of the opportunity.

Came from the guy on the near (UNC) side. Which makes it even crazier seeing how the player he called it on was probably 5 yards away.
