So what I am sayin is ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIDE and go Warhawks (or whoever creampuffs you aubies play this weekend)
-
You wouldn't happen to be related to fred by any chance would you?

I love stereotypes. Nice Kid Rock signature.

if he's hung like a mature camel then he just might be.
-

nah no stereotypes just like my team. Lurker over at AUNation, kinda lame, so I thought I'd check this place out.
So question: Where do you guys really see yourselves finishing this year? What record gives you a good season?
For us I say we go 10-2 with losses to Clemson and Georgia. At worst 9-3
-

Hey at least there is one more Bama guy here
-
The creampuff we play this weekend walked out of Bryant Denny with your manhood a few months back.
Na na na na na Naaa na Hey Warhawks Na na na na Naaa na Hey Warhawks.....
Oh damn, I'm sorry, you guys never got to sing that song that day.
-

10-2 or 9-3 would be a good season for us. 8-4 would be ok, but I think anything less than that would be bad. I could see Bama going 9-3 if a few drops happen to do your way. I have a question for you, What do you think about the spread for your game this weekend only being 4 1/2 to 5 points considering that Clemson is a top 10 team and Alabama generally is not ranked?
-
Hey at least there is one more Bama guy here
There's a couple more. They all come in spurts. (heh).
That one particularly is a brainless idiot.

You took the words out of my mouth. Now take your cock out of the bama goober's mouth.
Will: welcome, fist your dog, Auburn will finish with no fewer than 10 wins and the tahd will finish with no more than 7 wins.
-
Yeah, I for got to add a Welcome to the show.

I'm surprised you said 8-4, I have a few aubie friends and most of them expect big things this season. Not National Title but 1 maybe 2 losses at most.
The spread, I chalk that up to two things. 1) Clemson plays better as an underdog than they do a star, my thoughts are that they will beat us but it will be close. 2) SEC vs ACC nuff said.
I think we can win, I just don't think we will be good enough YET at the beginning of the season.

You don't foresee any problems with your front seven trying to contain Davis/Spiller? I do.

Shit, we had problems with it during the bowl game. The scariest thing about those two players is that it only takes one chance for them to get open before it is 6 points. They are always a threat.

Exactly. And I wouldn't trade our front seven (last year or this year) for bama's. Do they have any linebackers other than McClain?

Every dog has his day, but that was last year. Tis a new season, and everyone is undefeated right now. I'd be more worried about them if I were you, new quarterback, new coaches....you never know. Don't count your chickens...
CNS will have this team in good shape, we won't be losing to any creampuffs this year, you can bet on that.
-
nah no stereotypes just like my team.
No stereotypes? Let me count the stereotypical ways:
1) You've got a 30-year old picture of a deceased football coach as your avatar
2) Your signature proudly repeats the refrain from a song by the current king of shirtless scruffy rednecks, Kid Rock.
3) You refer to Auburn fans as "aubies"
4) You forget in your attempt to run smack just how diminished Alabama has been since the deceased coach was alive and refer to a team that drubbed you on homecoming last year as a "creampuff"
Shall I go on?

Hell, I like this one. Can we keep him, Paw?
F'real...stick around Will, you liven this joint up a bit.
-

Point: You are a walking stereotype. Not that hard to understand.
-
Oh and to answer your questions....
1.) Lets see CPB was a hell of a coach.
2.) I like Kid Rock
3.) Aubies and you don't call us names?
4.) New year my friend, I make no excuses they beat us, they are still a creampuff.
-
Point: You are a walking stereotype. Not that hard to understand.
Let me guess you care nothing about au's past, you never go to games, you never dress in au colors, and your the first to complain when they lose?
-
your the first to complain when they lose?
One out of four ain't bad.
-
Seriously, will, from this board's token female member, welcome. We need a bammer to beat up on. Just remember that it's all in fun - real conversation, not just farting the bammer company line, will at least earn you a grudging respect from the goobers around here. And bring any of your rational buddies with you - everyone is welcome here.
Now, go fuck yourself, bammer turd. Or your sister - whichever is easiest. :)
-
Let me guess you care nothing about au's past, you never go to games, you never dress in au colors, and your the first to complain when they lose?
I promise to play nice here, but seriously Slick Willi.... Don't go down the path of which school/team/alumni (or sidewalk alumni in Bammer's case...) hangs on, no... clings with desperate intent.. to their beloved past.
You'll lose. You'll lose badly.
Please, Oh Please.... post often!
-

Just because we have
Consider this, at the beginning of their schedule when they faced three teams of equal caliber, davis and Spiller combined for less than 100 yards in all three games, combined. This is the SEC and we have seen our share of running backs, I don't consider davis and spiller to be in the same realm as McFadden and Felix, and we held our own against them last year. To be honest I see the game shapping up to our o-line vs their d-line, as the deciding factor. IMO games are won and lost in the trenches.

Nice...you brush your teeth with that mouth...Classy Auburn Fan

Your estimation would hold water if it wasn't for the fact they got undeniably better during the year last year. You got worse, and at best you're (or were last year....) a bottom half tiered SEC team.
...and if you think Wench is doing anything that raises your eyebrows, you're just not paying attention. You're not in AUNKansas anymore....

You can't go forward without knowing where you've been. I can't help that we've had a more successful past and your jealous of that.

Suck it, bitch. I normally complain when we win, not when we lose.
-
You can't go forward without knowing where you've been. I can't help that we've had a more successful past and your jealous of that.
Yes, because in the present, I'd much rather be miserable and realize that before I was born, things were great.
Good analysis. Spot on.
-

At least I have teeth to brush... but WTF does "brush your teeth with that mouth" mean? Sounds like you put a little too much Dickle in your morning cuppa coffee.
Hey, I was trying to make you feel welcome and all by talking like a bammer. I didn't want to use big words that might confuse you right out of the chute. We want you to stay!
-
Welcome to the site, Will! I hope you brought your big-girl panties.

Wait am I miserable in the present or are you the miserable one? I'm not following you, because my present looks good.
So based on the rationale in this forum no one gives a shit about the following people?

BamaWill, just what the doctor ordered. Welcome, post often and go fist yourself. So explain one more time why Spiller and Davis wont set rushing records against little nicky saturday? The stance that Clemson plays
better as a underdog has nothing to do with Davis rushing for 150 saturday. Clemson 35 Bammer 17
-

Your "present" relative to recruiting and springtime, always looks good (unless you're dealing with coaches, strippers and credit cards I guess...). I understand your short memory... However, you keep feeling good about the spring, the present, and we'll keep celebrating and feeling good in the fall when it counts.
It's kind of like the bammer that followed me out of Bruno's this morning.... I was wearing an Auburn golf shirt, and as we're walking out, he pipe's up with "Don't you all lose that game this year, or you'll never hear the end of it." I kind of chuckled, looked at him and calmly said, "I guess, you'd know all about that, wouldn't you?"
No response. Fucking idiots.
-
If I have to explain it, then your not bright enough to understand it.
Your poor grammar would indicate that you're not either...

Make it rain.

So based on the rationale in this forum no one gives a shit about the following people?
Ok, guys, I'll take this one...
There is a difference in living in the past and respecting the past. bammers live in the past. Auburn folks have a healthy respect for the past. We name our stadium after Shug and Cliff Hare and our field after Pat Dye, and then we let it go. Their relevance extended to the football field and that is all. No museums at the corner of Pat Dye Blvd and Pat Dye Avenue, running parallel to Pat Dye Road and Pat Dye Causeway.
We also recognize that Dye was a football coach, not a god sent to earth to help us win. Bear was a mortal man, and he has been dead for MORE THAN 20 YEARS!!! Neither Bear, not Dye, Jordan, or Walter Camp have any business being compared to men like Churchill, Reagan, and Washington. These men made contributions to an entire nation and indeed the entire world - so, yeah, we should give a shit about people like that. Football coaches do not fall into the same category.
No clue what Hemmingway has to do with anything, but whatever. At least his books are read all over - most people in Europe have heard of Hemmingway - but would have no clue why certain Americans worship a long-dead football coach.
And on this point, I would have to side with the Europeans.
-

An excellent rebuttal. I would like to add that the idolized dead coach was the worst cheater the game has ever seen.

ah, your one of those
-
ah, your one of those
One of those? You mean educated and well spoken? Then guilty as charged.
Actually, you provided just another example for "perpetuation of the stereotype"... I could not, in good conscience, let it pass.

Jen, dear, I finally realized he doesn't know the meaning of the word stereotype. That explains a lot.

Well I had typed something very long and eloquent but then this damn forum kicked me out so I am retyping the abridged version:
You miss my point, I was in no way comparing a football coach to the founder of our nation. What I was pointing out is that history is what defines us, without history, we cannot evolve. You were sterotyping me, because I had a picture of the greatest college football coach in history. I have that picture in there because I respect his accomplishments, and the great University of Alabama football team has benefitted because of this mans accomplishments. Hemmingway was shown because he was a great writer, a drunk, but considered one of the greatest writers of our time. All of the people shown were great men who were succesful at what they did, do you not celebrate their accomplishments?
Go to Green Bay and make fun of Lombardi...see what happens. You are right though CBB was not a god, there is only one God. He was simply a man , who beat you aubies...many....many....times!
-
What I was pointing out is that history is what defines us, without history, we cannot evolve.
What you and your crimson kin continue to fail at grasping is that respecting history is one thing, but refusing to let it go is pathetic.
Idolatry is alive and well in T-town.
-

What you aubies fail to grasp is your jelousy of all things crimson. Hell half of the posts on this board are related to us. I mean do you really want to fight the my past is better than your past battle?
Keep in mind that I am not the one who brought this up or started talking about CBB, I have him in my Avatar and I have explained the reason why.
-

I figured it was because Saban's head wouldn't fit.
-
I mean do you really want to fight the my past is better than your past battle?
The point has clearly flown over your head. It's not a matter of who has the "better" (however you quantify that) past, it's simply a matter of acknowledging that which happened and paying respect to it, then moving on. It's that last bit your people are having problems with.
-
