Passed away last night in a high speed car crash.
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Former Titans kicker Rob Bironas was pronounced dead at Vanderbilt Hospital after a late night crash in Nashville.
The 36-year-old was driving on Battery Lane when he lost control of his SUV, hit several trees and careened into a ravine.
The vehicle was upside down when Metro police arrived, according to spokesman Don Aaron.
Aaron tells Channel 4 News that Bironas was traveling at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred.
Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors.
Bironas married Rachel Bradshaw, the daughter of NFL hall of famer Terry Bradshaw, in June.
A Metro police chaplain spoke with her shortly after the crash, according to Aaron.
Bironas spent nine years with the Titans, setting several NFL records along the way.
He was released from the team in March but continued to call the Nashville-area home.
The Titans could not immediately be reached for comment.

Actually had some classes with Rob around 1998-ish. Seemed like a nice guy. Real quiet and kept to himself. Seemed like a nice dude. I know he was real involved in some charities. And if you read about his path to the NFL, dude friggin earned it. RIP. He was a good un.

How Bizarre How Bizarre. al. I am a gay twerker that has no balls!!!! I also have no idea how to use the quote function to post stories, so I annoy the piss out of others. I like male genatalia in and around my mouth.
The story surrounding the death of former Auburn and Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas continues to take bizarre turns.
A second road rage report from the minutes before Bironas was killed in a car accident near his Nashville home late Saturday has emerged. Two Belmont University students told The Tennessean newspaper on Tuesday that Bironas threatened to kill them and tried to ram their vehicle shortly before running off the road and crashing his SUV into a drainage culvert.
Corey Fraley said he was a passenger in a vehicle that pulled up behind Bironas' 2009 GMC Yukon and noticed a burning smell coming from Bironas' SUV.
"His window was down, and we pulled up and I said, "Hey man, just a heads up, something's burning from your exhaust. Your exhaust smells horrible, just wanted to let you know,'" Fraley told The Tennessean. "He looked over at me and said 'I'm going to kill everybody in your (expletive) vehicle.' It was so random, so bizarre I was like, 'What?' And he said the exact same thing again."
Fraley said the pickup truck he was riding in, driven by a fellow Belmont student with two others in the backseat, turned left, but Bironas followed them at a high rate of speed. "He tried to sideswipe the vehicle and missed us by a foot," Fraley said.
Fraley and his party eventually evaded Bironas, and called 911. Bironas soon after had an altercation with the passengers in a second vehicle, who also called 911.
"We let him go on past us because he was trying to run us off the road and we don't know who he is,'' the woman, later identified as Daphne Lauderdale, told the 911 dispatcher. "... We just pulled out of his way, and we saw all this smoke and pulled over.
"There is something wrong with him. He gave us a mean look. We don't even know him, and he tried to run us off the road."
Fraley told The Tennessean he and his friends later found out the driver of the SUV was killed in a crash. His roommate later texted him a photo of Bironas.
"As soon as I saw that face,'' Fraley said. "I know for a fact that it was Rob Bironas in that vehicle chasing us.
"I am not trying to soil this guy's reputation or his legacy. I know this community thinks very fondly of him. I am just being honest, and I'm trying to get this off my chest. He tried to kill us. He told us he was going to try and kill us."
Bironas kicked at Auburn from 1997-99 before transferring to Georgia Southern. He kicked for the Titans from 2005-2013 before being released this past spring.
Bironas was married in June to country singer Rachel Bradshaw, the daughter of Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw. Rachel Bradshaw reportedly told police her husband left home without telling her less than an hour before the fatal accident.
Rachel Bradshaw told police Bironas was not intoxicated, and there were no signs of alcohol at the crash scene. An autopsy was performed late Monday, but toxicology reports are not expected back for several weeks.

Maybe it was his interaction with GH that he had suppressed and then remembered, that sent him over the edge.

Uhhhh, yeah. He had something real "good" in his system. I'm gonna have to guess the "drugs aren't suspected" part is gonna be retracted soon.
And no WT.....but I like to think my influence had everything to do with that hottie he snagged.

Ok, so maybe if the exhaust was smoking badly he was breathing carbon monoxide? Would explain erratic behavior.

So a cop was behind him when he crashed I assume? This is getting interesting.

I think Bironas and his wife were hitting something pretty hard. He left, she freaked out because she was fucked up and called the police. Why would you call the police if your husband has been gone for an hour? Drugs had to be involved...

Acid was first thing that came to mind.
But as TW eluded to, the exhaust thing is very strange.
