Title: Fargo
Post by: War Eagle!!! on April 16, 2014, 11:39:16 AM
Anyone watch it? I have it on DVR but it will be a couple of days until I get to it.

I have to admit, I am pretty excited about this one. I hope the series is as good as the teasers they have been floating everywhere. I loved the movie but have no idea how it will all tie in to the movie...

Me too. Will be hard for it to follow the Mash path but it has the potential. Haven't seen it yet either.

o.k., I tried it and liked it. But the commercials are gonna kill it for me. I'm a fan of Billy Bob and I liked the Fargo movie-- it won't measure up to the movie for me. But, it was a good enough show that I will watch again.

It doesn't feel as real as the movie. I give it 3 stars.

I watched the first 15-20 minutes or so before bed last night. Is it really an hour & a half show every week? Jeebus, shows are getting long.

It started out kinda slow, but I'm not giving up on it yet. I'll probably catch up over the weekend.

Most likely a 45 to 50 minute show with the rest in commercials.

BBC's Sherlock really succeeded with the hour and a half long episodes, but they only have three per season and the hour and a half is without commercials at least on Netflix.

Does it make you consider killing people too?

Yeah. I will say it's good, but so far at least, I think it would benefit from shaving AT LEAST that extra 15-30 minutes off and just be an hour long show, pacing-wise.

It's good, and a lot goes on per episode, but it kind of drags due to the length of each one.
