Me? I was in a friend's wedding, having about 10,000 pictures taken after the ceremony while we watched the snow falling at a clip of about one inch per hour. Had to drive home that night in about 4" of snow. Woke up the next morning to 17 inches on the ground in our driveway...

Lived in a rental house off Lorna Road. Right across the street from an Alabama Power sub station. Had to watch all the work trucks go out every day and still not repair my power. I was out of power for a little over a week.
-
Funny you said that...I still remember listening to one of the local radio stations thinking that if I had a dollar for every time I heard somebody call in and say "I've been without power since Friday at 7:00" I could have retired at age 23.

I was suppose to be in Rockford, Al. for grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. Stuck on Pensacola Beach in 60 mph cold ass wind and rain. I believe they said we got some 70-80 mph gusts. Wasn't sure the pillons would hold up from all the rocking. Oh, wait that wasn't wind caused. It was me and the Michigan State cheerleader. Carry on.

I was living in Dallas. Been married to the first hubs for 7 months. Never saw mega snow ever, and the year I move away, a fucking blizzard hits. My folks had no power for a week. Thank goodness they had a gas fire place in the sun room. They cooked over it and slept out there the whole time.
It was 80 degrees in Texas that week.
