Primarily a dancer and singer, he also had many acting roles on stage and screen, and was noted for his impersonations of actors and other celebrities. At the age of three Davis began his career in vaudeville with his father and Will Mastin as the Will Mastin Trio, which toured nationally. After military service Davis returned to the trio. Davis became an overnight sensation following a nightclub performance at Ciro's after the 1951 Academy Awards. With the trio, he became a recording artist. In 1954, he lost his left eye in an automobile accident, and several years later, he converted to Judaism.

Do we really want a one eyed Jewish RB who was around in the '50's?  Kid'll get blindsided every play.

247 has him as an 88% lean towards the Tigers, with the other 12% towards jawjaw.

FWIW, he's a 4 star safety prospect.  Auburn is the early leader.  The skreets have spoken.

He's the son of a former Auburn player who will tell him to go where his heart leads him to.

He'll sign with Alabama the day before signing day.

Damn I feel old.  I was an undergrad when Stephen Davis was at Auburn.  The night of the '95 Iron Bowl, I was at Gabby's with some buddies, and Davis came in, yelled War Eagle, and then signed autographs the rest of the night.
