Title: The hype machine
Post by: Kaos on October 18, 2013, 02:49:26 PM
Watched a little of the Miami-NC game.  The talking heads were touting it as a huge win for the Hurricanes, a real test, big shot in the arm for the resurgence of the program, blah blah blah.

I had no idea. Figured it was a big deal.

Then today I learn that NC is 1-6, Miami had to score with 16 seconds left to take its first lead of the game and even THEN had to have a guy drop a hail mary pass that hit him in the hands in the end zone to win.

Oh, yeah. That's a big one.  Miami is back.

I actually stayed up and watched that game because it was entertaining.......and because I wanted Miami to lose.  They did everything they could to lose it including their QB throwing four picks.

UNC absolutely snatches defeat out of the jaws of victory more than anyone I have ever seen.

I have watched two Miami game this year they are supremely overrated.  They got a huge boost and credit for a Gatahs win, who I don't think should even be ranked and won't be after they lose to Mizzou this weekend.

This Auburn team would beat Miami, I have no doubts.
