Former NFL and Auburn player Heath Evans stirred up some Carolina Panthers fans today. Speaking to Chris McClain and Jim Celania on WFNZ's the Mac Attack, Evans said Cam Newton should not have returned to Auburn to finish his degree in the offseason. Evans said that Cam Newton should have spent every possible minute learning the Carolina Panthers offense with new offensive coordinator Mike Shula during the offseason.

Ehh, he's still mad Tom Brady choked away his chance at a Super Bowl.
The Cam hate is required from all media members.

The guy has no filter. Remember, he had a lot to say about our strength and discipline under Chiz. It's not what he said. Most of us likely agreed. It was how he said it.
I didn't hear his opinion but I can't agree with it if he doesn't think Cam can work out, study a play book and do school in Auburn.
Heath was a good fullback. Cam was the best AU player since Bo. So, I'm on Cam's side.

Fuck you Heath.

Is it legal to neuter humans yet? Fuck off Heath.

Yeah, Evans also said this last season to the subject of an NFL team v. 2012 Bams:
“I mean, honestly with a 24 point spread, it would be hard to bet against Nick [Saban],†Evans told ESPN 760 in West Palm Beach, Florida. “It really would. I could say that it’d be hard to bet against Oregon too. With Oregon’s offense, if you had a week to game plan for it, guys aren’t in good enough shape to play that offense. Defensively speaking, from an NFL team playing Oregon’s offense, I’d take Oregon at that as well as I’d take Alabama.â€
