I know one thing. I'm really tired of the ESpN 300 infomercial I'm being forced to watch. There's no play by play. No discussion of Vanderbilt players. Nothing about strategy or what's really going on on the field. Just Kim Dee Chi and the other freshmen and their high school stats and hype.

Didn't watch a series of either game. Worked til 11. Attempted to sleep. Got up and ran 6 miles. Now for back to back staff meetings. Fridays are awesome in bureaucracyville.

Couldn't stay up for all of the Akbar/Nerds game. Tapped out in the 3rd but a damn fine game to that point. Was grilling out and watching the Cock-n-Goat war and thinking, "It's finally here." My taint was tingling.

Best thing about quitting my job - being able to stay up late, enjoy the end of a late game and not think once about feeling like shit the next day.

I definitely lost sleep staying up for that one. Both of these teams give me nightmares. They have the talent to just go off at any time. The Matthews kid for Vandy is a stud. It is shame their game ended on his drop. But damn, the kid already spewed his guts for the team. get him some help. I pray we have a guy step up and put some love on the ball like this kid does.
The one thing I did notice about each of these teams is that their running game is not that good.(there were some nice runs, but it didn't seem they were from whipping the other guy) I just think the defenses were not as good as they could be. That may be the one thing that saves us.
And don't know that #1 from ole piss. they gave the kid the ball 4 times in a row and he never lost yardage. He will be a stud.
all in all a good game. I had to sit through the cock game with the cock wife. UNC will win some games in the ACC this year, but they just do not have enough talent to hang in the SEC. Brenner is the real deal. We'll see him on Sundays. When he gets minimal time, he is pretty good.

That was egg on the face stuff. Clowney was out of shape, ineffective and just started taking plays totally off if it didn't come his way. I actually lost some respect for him last night.

Like I said. I think it was a product of the defenses.There were a lot of players out of position and they paid for it. For both teams. They might run like that on Jake Holland, but it did not look like 2 prime SEC defenses.

But without that 75 yard run at the end, they were averaging 3.6 yards per carry. Also Vandy played retard defense and let Bo Wallace eat them up the middle way too many times.
