A little pasta/coppage from al to the dot to the kum regarding season ticket sales coming up.

Auburn season tickets won't be available to the general public until June 14, but fans who held general public season tickets or mini-plans in 2012 can start buying tickets in a pre-sale June 7.  According to a release from Auburn's athetic department, the pre-sale was established to reward the loyalty of past season-ticket holders.

A season ticket plan for Auburn's eight home games -- Washington State, Arkansas State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Western Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Georgia and Alabama -- cost $450, the same price as 2012.

“It is an exciting time for Auburn football, and we wanted to show appreciation to the fans that have shown loyalty to the program,” Auburn asssociate athletics director of external relations Scott Carr said. “We have had great demand during the Tigers Unlimited renewal period and hope to see that carry over to our season ticket holders.”

Auburn season tickets have been available to Tigers Unlimited members since March 1.

In an interview with reporters in early May, Auburn athletics director Jay Jacobs said season-ticket sales have been up during the Tigers Unlimited period as fans buy tickets for Gus Malzahn's first season.

Auburn also obliterated the school record by drawing 83,401 fans, the most of any team in the nation, for A-Day.

"Coming off a 3-9 season, we didn’t know what to expect," Jacobs said. "And then the ticket sales starts going along and then A-Day and momentum with the commitments the football program has had and the passion of the Auburn people, it’s really a great thing and it’s actually helped people, renewed people’s interest in buying those tickets."

I can tell you I was not one of those renewals. And won't be until JJ is gone.

Signed mini Buzz up for football last weekend, and a day later my pops calls me and says he's getting season tickets again this year.  At least we can see the Georgia and bammer games...

You and me both.

It was actually hard to do it but I just couldn't fork over a donation again with that boob in charge. I'll still go to games to support Gus and our guys on Saturdays but ill be damned if I contribute to the hardon JJ gets from donations.
