So are we a solid team, or a subpar team? The 25-16 looks good but the OOC schedule was nothing to brag about. The 7-12 looks more realistic to me.

Yes.
Pitching is good overall. Hitting is not bad. Defense is weak.

The front part of our conference schedule was loaded with the top teams in the league, too. We grabbed the bull by the horns right out of the gate. That didn't help us any.

Game 2 is rained out. We'll play a doubleheader tomorrow, with each game reduced to 7 innings.

Mizzou wins game 2, 3-1, dropping our record stands to 25-17 (7-13).
If we lose game 3 (which is just getting underway), I think its safe to say our prospects for postseason play are toast.

Annnnnnd, its done. Mizzou wins game 3, 4-1. We drop to 25-18 (7-14).
We have 3 series left in conference play; Ole Miss, Florida, and Arkansas. I don't see us winning no more than 2-3 games out of these 9. Be it coaching or just a "I don't give a shit" attitude among the players, these guys just don't seem to have any fire in them.
