This is a very effective ad against Obama...all I can say is WOW! Where has this John McCain been?

Awful. I smell backfire. Big time.

That may be true but the media (and most of the Democrats that I know who are not Hillary supporters) treat this guy like he's the second coming of Jesus Christ. I think that it's fair game to politically mock his messianic attitude, the messianic image that the media is giving him, and his vacuous rhetoric of change.
But, he's going to win anyway so it doesn't matter what McCain does...we're doomed!
On another subject, glad to see you posting in this forum KAOS; with the exception of GarMan and Sani sometimes I wonder if I'm standing in here alone speaking out to the electron walls of teh ebays.

I read, but I am really, really jaded right now. I had my hopes set on Rudy and when he flamed out and we were left with a choice of Obama or McCain I sort of gave up caring.
I despise Obama and feel he stands for nothing. But McCain is the weakest Republican I've ever seen nominated.

The best way I have heard it put is it will not be a vote for McCain but rather a vote against Obama.

That being the case, I hope everyone comes to their senses and votes against Obama. I doubt either will last more than a first term, but the socialist policies that Obama supports will be hard to undo once they are passed by a liberal congress and signed by a socialist President

Yeah, me too. On the subject of this election cycle I am long past enthusiasm and fast approaching apathy. At least I've got the X to help keep my sanity even if, like the Republicans are doing right at the moment in the House, I am preaching only to the aether-world.
