Why not move LaDarius Owens to LB?
No. 8-ranked outside linebacker and No. 4 player in Alabama by Rivals.com
Why do we have this constant need to take players who excelled at a position in HS and make him try to fit elsewhere. See Daren Bates.

Well Adams is inside DT, but we did pick up Daniel at DE and have several DE's on the roster. I would hope that maybe this staff doesn't have the hard on to make HS LB's into DE's like the last staff did and we can see either Sanders or Owens move to LB.

Someone on the Bunker mentioned they were hearing Ford as LB...

That would be the shiznit but I still would think moving Owens makes more sense.

Do.Not.Want. Before he hurt his back he was starting to blow up, would rather him stay at DE.
EDIT: I can sorta see it though. Him and Owens were both 4* LB's coming out of HS.

I think he would make one hell of an OLB in a 3-4 scheme, but a much better DE in the 4-3. Either way, if he's healthy he's gonna blow some shit up this season.

He might and I can see it b/c of him playing there in HS. After the Grooves experiment of moving a DE and placing him at OLB, I just get uneasy.

Whatever they called him (L. Owens) during his "crootment" he played with his hand on the ground as a DE more often than not in HS. I suspect they played him at "LB" when they needed the best athlete on the field there. He's now listed at 6-3, 260, and I can't see him playing a true LB in this scheme, but that's just a guess. Hell, they may move him to CB for all I know.
