Title: Top notch coaching
Post by: War Eagle!!! on November 08, 2012, 10:07:58 AM
Jeez...

It took an injury?

Idiots. All of them. I even want BVG gone.

Quote
Cassanova McKinzy all but disappeared after a 12-tackle performance in his first career start against Vanderbilt last month.

He's back on the scene this week.

Junior Jake Holland, who has started the past two games, suffered an a high-ankle sprain during the win against New Mexico State last weekend.

He was fitted with a boot earlier in the week and hasn't been able to handle his usual practice responsibility.

McKinzy soon may find himself back in the starting lineup, though assistant coach Tommy Thigpen said that shouldn't be a limiting factor against Georgia.

"They're not very complicated. They don't move around much," Thigpen said. "They're good at what they do. They line up in two backs and a tight end and they use their skills the best way they can. Cassanova, the LSU was a good game for him. This is his type of football game."

Thigpen added that Holland has been studying diligently and is prepared to handle strategic tweaks that have been installed this week.

"He's out there with us," Thigpen said. "He knows exactly what we need to do on defense. We're just waiting to see."

You know, if we can get a few QB's injured, just lineup in the Wildcat with OM at QB and Mason at RB and just run zone read every play we might make a game of it.

That's just pathetic.  Everyone with half a brain can see that Holland is A. Lost out there and B. Isn't worth a shit when he does know what to do.  This past Saturday, I saw McKinzy go in during the 2nd half and very first play he tracks the runner down to the sideline and puts a lick on him.  What the hell is it about this staff that makes them want to stick with Holland so bad when you've got a 240 pound heat-seeking missle ready to go?

No shit.

I saw it against Vandy.

Flying in the hole, shedding blocks, and knocking the shit out of someone. And he is able to play sideline to side line. Then? Yeah...he hasn't played in 2 games.

Fucking stupid.

I think the coaches are actually trying to fuck up the games and the players...

Does seem that way, incompetant SEC caliber LB not only playing, but starting.  Something doesn't smell right with this.  Great, all we need is more negative shit floating around.

Its almost like the coaches are fixing the games or being paid to be stupid.

I'm numb.  Nothing surprises me anymore with this staff.

I would be equally unaffected if I were to find out that Chiz and company have been giving chemical lobotomies to the players in an effort to create a team of automatons.

I don't know what exactly is going on, but the symptoms say the head man is a complete fuck up.  BVG had a reputation for knowing what he'd doing.  Roof is running a respectable defense at a hamstrung PSU.   Loeffler showed no signs of being clueless at any time in his career til now.  Chiz is the only common thread.

And to think...I actually scoffed at that notion somewhere around the beginning of last season.

It's 100% player discipline.

Chizik has NO idea what he is doing.  A security firm?  Seriously?

That tells me there are so many off-the-field issues that if he actually addressed them all, we wouldn't field a football team.

Hey Tigers Fans! This is Chuck Neiderman. The voice of the Auburn Tigers! This season your football team needs more than your support. So if any of you listener can punt, pass, block or kick, then report to the gymnasium at 3 o'clock sharp for open football tryouts.

Wish I took a picture, but at my local grocery store here west of the Mississippi, on the news stand was one of those USA Today Sports Weekly Special Editions with a picture of Chizik desperately screaming from the sideline with a caption of "Auburned: How things got so bad so quickly".

A nice change from the ones I see about every third week with Saban on the cover...
