Move a team down unless it loses. 

Unless that team is not USC.   LSU drops to 3 after win.

Why not?  Either eliminate the preseason polls or keep the preseason polls and let people move teams around willy-nilly.

I get what you're saying here, but I seem to remember a team from southern California moving down to #2 after winning in the first week of the season.

That means it takes another media darling to accomplish that unpossible task.
