Reports: Auburn commit Dee Liner arrested UPDATE: AGAIN!
SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATES
Numerous internet message board reports indicate that Auburn football 2013 commitment Dee Liner was arrested in Muscle Shoals on July 1, 2012. The reports are credible.
Another helmet tap for @BSBHVR2.
Here’s a link to the recent arrest reports. (http://quadcitiesdaily.com.s140587.gridserver.com/?p=26723)
A snapshot, just in case that gets scrubbed or scrolls off:

Note: That website (unlike many others) does not provide mugshot photos or place of residence for those arrested and booked into the facility.
Most of the time, “disorderly conduct†is fighting or being involved in an altercation of some sort, and obstructing government operations usually consists of giving a false name to police officers.
So, is “Davion Liner†the same guy as Dee Liner?
Looks like it. (http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncfrecruiting/southeast/post?id=3710&_slug_=the-name-fits-for-this-future-auburn-tiger&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fblog%2fncfrecruiting%2fsoutheast%2fpost%3fid%3d3710%26_slug_%3dthe-name-fits-for-this-future-auburn-tiger)
When it comes to defensive line prospects in the Class of 2013 not many are better than Davion Liner (Muscle Shoals, Ala.).
Everyone calls him Dee and let’s just say the name fits.
“It’s really only a coincidence,†said Liner with a laugh. “My mom nicknamed me Dee before I was 5 years old. Looking at it now I guess it’s pretty appropriate.â€
Liner is one of the state’s top prospects for the 2013 recruiting class and is currently committed to Auburn. Auburn officials cannot comment on Liner’s arrest because he has not signed a letter of intent and NCAA rules prohibit coaches and school officials from publicly discussing prospects.
UPDATE: Per WAFF-TV’s Nick Lough, Liner was arrested again last night, this time for criminal trespassing.

Per Lough:
On July 1 a female Muscle Shoals cop pulled a car over. While conducting the traffic stop Liner pulled up in a 2nd vehicle. Liner got out of the vehicle ran over to the officer and began screaming, cursing and throwing objects at the female officer. He yelled several things at the officer including “Let my f****** mother go. You’re not going to tell me what to do.†He was placed under arrest. His court date is set for August 23. All info is from court records.
Rivals.com’s Andrew Bone Tweeted this:
I spoke to five-star Dee Liner moments ago about his recent arrests, "I made some bad decisions, but everything is going to get better."

When they can show an actual news source reporting it, I will believe it.
-
There's no criminal case in Alabama against anyone with that name on AlaCourt, at least as of right now. I know it can sometimes take awhile to get the charge entered into the system and a court date set, so they could just be delayed in doing it. I don't know how quickly Colbert County's court systems process that information and set an initial hearing.

In case you are wondering, every player and coach at AU are thugs. Liner should fit right in.

Police say Liner yelled several things at the officer including "Let my f****** mother go. You're not going to tell me what to do."
WTF was the context of that?

The article wasn't clear, but I am assuming the female officer had Dee's mother pulled over for a traffic stop. Why was Dee there? No clue. Possibly driving behind his mother to follow her somewhere.
The other possibility is that he went nuts and started screaming at a police officer about his mother for no reason.

You don't fuck with a big southern black man's momma.
Seriously though, that twat nozzle Scalilia would report on this wouldn't he? Had to get in the "auburn commit" and "10 days" parts too.

Yeah, and like I said, I want to know what the officer was doing to his mother. Seems like there's more to the story than is being reported there...
"Let my mother go"? Doesn't sound like a routine "Ma'am are you aware that you were going 31 in a 25?" Were they getting pushy with her? What's the deal?

Not trying to sound all tin foil like bottomfeeder either, but I agree. With what he said, it sounded like they were getting too rough with her for his taste. Again, big black man - dont fuck with momma.

Literally all he does is transcribe things from twitter and/or blogs like Clay's.
That's his full-time job.
Also, it's funny how this is being painted as such an extension of an "Auburn problem". If he were currently committed to Alabama, as they had wished, would it be an Alabama problem?

If he were a Bama commit? Headline would read "Alabama HS Football Player wrongfully charged with disorderly conduct after defending his mother"

I seriously doubt the police officer was doing anything which warranted throwing objects at her. Possible, but not likely.
The article may have incorrectly stated that Dee was throwing anything, but at any rate, if that is what happened, it's not wise to approach an officer screaming and throwing objects.
Best thing to do is wait until the facts come out.
Or just assume that Dee = Trayvon Martin according to the media the day after the shooting. Whatever floats your boat.
-
The officer was trying to arrest Dee's mother, later saying that it was mistaken identity. Btw, he's getting all of this because he's an Auburn commit (if he was a uat commit, he would've never had his name in the paper like that).

There's no doubt the media is biased, but he also wouldn't have made it in the paper if he hadn't jumped a fence and starting yelling at the law.
