Goddamn son...fuck...you owe me a monitor.

That's some sad shit.
I look for Mr. Penny every time I go to an AU game. He's almost as much a part of it for me as Aubie, the eagle flight and white go-go boots.
Always such a positive guy.

Same here. That is one of the happiest dudes I know of. Cool guy all around. WTH?

Hopefully it was just an accident...not many details coming out though for obvious reasons.

Could be this. He may have been hunting wabbits

More Mr. P.

This is fucking sad. Mr. Penny wasn't just cool; he was old black guy cool.

I really can't explain why this bothers me as much as it does. I'm not usually given to maudlin sentiment. But this is sort of painful to me.
It's going to be one of those things I'm not going to tolerate any shit from Bama fans over.
I didn't even know the guy, but he was my friend dammit.

It goes without saying that you speak type much better than I do, but you expressed my sentiments exactly.

I had only seen the guy a few times. But yeah, I concur.

This isn't as sad as Jim Fyffe but he was part of the game day tradition at Auburn.
-
My wife knew him from Dean Road Elementary. He was the janitor or something. She's pretty torn up about it. I can't imagine what could have gotten to him so bad that he took his own life.

Did he actually die? I hope if anything he's just hurt and it was an accident.
If it was done purposely, and he failed, hopefully he can look back at all the outpouring of people that care about him and get himself on the right track.
'Bama, AU, ut, or whatever this is a bummer.
-
I think he's on life support to preserve his organs. At least, that was speculation on Twitter.
-
Just saw a report on the bookfaces that he squeezed his mother's hand. That would be good news for now anyway.
-
Fuck.
-
He was one pumped up dude.
-
I echo Kaos' sentiments. This bothers me when things like this usually don't. This was just one ultra cool human being, Orange and Blue Auburn man to the core. In a lot of ways, he was the epitome of an Auburn man. Just real genuine and real, hardworking. I pray this was an unfortunate accident.
-
I'm gonna do 50 pushups as my own crazy tribute.
Holy shit I'm out of shape...
-
TOTAL unsubstantiated rumor - but one FB poster made comment to an unfaithful wife.
Man, I hope that is not the case. I met him at the game I attended last year. Awesome dude.
