Where in the hell has he been? It's starting to heat up in the political world and he is MIA? Calling shenanigans and Tom Foolery. He needs to get his priorities in order.
Can Uncle Sain and Garman check in on him and make sure he is still alive and kicking?

Duke is a strange team to figure out. They're huge inside with the 8 Plumlee brothers all going 6'10" and 6'11" along with Ryan Kelly. The guards are where the problem lies. All of them can shoot from anywhere on the court, smooth as silk (God, if Auburn had just one) But...they just can't defend on the perimeter. Any team that has quick and physical guards gives Duke fits. Teams get in the paint way too easily on them and that's why I see UNC handling that ass this year. Duke is capable of beating anyone in the country on just about any night. But if you attack their guards, you've got a great chance.

He's been busy... He joined some cult. Scientology I believe. He also became a Democrat and started smoking dope with some of his new gay friends. He replaced all of his incandescents with CFLs and LEDs too. He really went off the deep end...

I always had my suspicions that he was a Hippie. I was going to talk smack about how if the Tarheels would have given a little more "umph" and not been pussies that Pickett's Charge would have been successful, but I figured that was taking it to far :)

Yeah, what a disappointment. I know this type of commentary belongs in the BB forum but I'll say it here anyway (report me to the Mods); two factors were involved here with the first one being the Tarheels playing this particular game with the same strategy that I've seen forever, wear the opponent down, gain a lead of 12 to 20 plus points, then slow down the tempo in the last few minutes of the game. That is not going to cut it with as dangerous an opponent as Duke. The second factor was that last, very lucky (I'm sure some would say "skillful"...but that's a delusional assessment) 3 pt shot by Duke in the last 2 seconds of the game.
And, as a codicil, you have GOT to make the free throws. GOT to. There's no excuses especially at a program like Carolina.
I've said my peace. We'll see how the Tarheels play at that quaint little gym in Durham in a few weeks.

One of the first things out of Coach Buy-a-vowel's mouth was "I still think they're the better team. We just fought and hung around and got hot right at the end." He went on to praise UNC's players, the fans etc. Corch Williams was getting asked why he did this or that and he said, "Hey, there was another team on the floor tonight that had a little something to do with the outcome".
I look forward to the meeting in the quaint little gym across town.

I beg your excuse me. I have personally watched Garman fall sound asleep in Beard Eaves..after watching Sani lick the window at Momma's....then stumbled across campus from the Convention Center to my truck...in a semi-innebriated state. Thank you very little.
But damn it, Eli is going to be at the beach.

I'm glad that somebody remembers all of that...you must not have been too inebriated. I'm not sure that I remember it myself...but my trips to the Plains usually start with a peckertail mixed drink (*edit) at 0500 EST and end 24 hours later in another time zone.
*edit: after looking at my own post I realized I prolly should have used a different word; I must have a talk with one of the Mods about the euphemism heuristics and word replacements.
