LSU opens as a 21 point favorite over Auburn. Not sure the last time the Tigers have been that type of underdog. 2007 Florida comes to mind.

IF Lester gets the chance, he'll run it up. With less than 2 minutes to play against Florida and up 34-11, Les could have taken some knees and ended the game. Instead, he punched another one in to make it 41-11.

I'm not so sure that it's a matter of AU sucks that bad, I think it's more along the lines of LSU is that good. If you guys can give them a run for their money though, that will make me feel alot better about November 5th.

Point being, I'm not so sure Alabama can beat LSU. I've been complaining that Alabama's slow starts are going to fuck them at some point, and I think this might be the game. Other than MSU, nobody has really challenged LSU. And I think that game was a fluke, for that matter. Like I said, I don't think that line says "Wow, AU sucks hard!" I think it is more so saying LSU is pretty fucking good.
If AU can expose a chink in the armor, I'm going to feel alot better about Alabama's chances.

The LSU-Auburn game - no matter the records - have been knuckle bruisers since the 2003 season. 2009 was the only exception.
Maybe they're expecting that again since the scenarios are similar.
But I would definitely not bet on LSU covering.
