BYU beat Ole Miss, got beat 17-16 by Texas, got thumped by Utah, then beat Utah State 27-24.  That tells me what I already knew, USU is a pretty good team....not world beaters....but pretty good.

Really? You'd be happy with those 4 games? Squeaking by Ole Miss and Utah State but losing to this year's Texas and Utah?

I wouldn't. I expect to beat Ole Miss more convincingly, and I'm hoping it's not our marquee win this season. Maybe my expectations are too high.

Luckily the transitive property is bogus, as proven by the South Florida game Thursday. USF beat Notre Dame. Pitt lost to Notre Dame. Then Pitt blows the doors off of USF 44-17.
