Title: Traffic ticket meaning?
Post by: Kaos on August 08, 2011, 10:11:19 AM
Speeding ticket.  60 in a 45.  It was a 55 and it was changed for "construction" with a sign that was covered with wood some days.  Whatever.  Douche state trooper making his bones.  He stopped at least five people I know in the same little two mile stretch passing out tickets for anything over 50.

What does the "V" designation mean in the UTC?

The thing "isn't in the system" and the ticket was issued on June 20.

In simple terms, it's a way of tracking the series of the ticket.  In most (if not all) cases, the V is the "new" electronic ticket.  Which means your ticket was printed instead of handwritten.  If it isn't in the system, it just means he hasn't went to the local clerks office and sworn to it yet.

I think you should go back down and raise hell.  Seriously.

We get our asses chewed if we haven't sworn to our tickets in 2 weeks.  By Judges.  Which makes the ass chewing that much worse.
