I was playing in a little league allstar tournament when I was 11, our catcher, a big ass 12 year old kid, hit a liner up the middle that caught the pitcher square in the nuts.  He had to be rushed to the hospital and never played baseball again.  Ended up being one of the best tennis players in the state.
