In the Schlabach/Schad article about Oregon and the street agents...
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=6179423
The NCAA's renewed efforts come about four months after it was revealed that Kenny Rogers,
a former Mississippi State player, was involved in Heisman Trophy winner Cameron Newton recruiting.
The NCAA ruled that Cecil Newton, the player's father, was aware of Rogers' pay-for-play scheme to solicit
$180,000 from Mississippi State boosters before his son signed with Auburn.
I'm guessing that they'd hope that it would go unnoticed that they were going to have a BIG plate of Crow Shit served to them with that statement.

What's your point?

My point? Are you fucking serious? Schad and Schlabach were two people that first "reported" on the issue. Notice how they're saying that the NCAA stated that Rogers was the one that had the pay-for-play scheme not that Cecil was the one begging Universities to pay. I think that's a pretty fucking important statement.

Thats true. They seem to have re-invented their statement.

I asked YOUR point, not Schads. I wasn't unaware of the difference, but am aware also that Schad's reporting is so haphazzard that it doesn't surprise me to see him seemingly shift gears, or forget the shit he made up 6 months ago.

Good point. Thanks for posting that Harry.
