Title: Orlando
Post by: Token on December 05, 2010, 10:27:15 PM
Alright, so I've never been.  How is the parking around the stadium and how easy is it to get to from I-75?  Also, how is the stadium?  I bought 2 around the 30 yard line.  Stadium seats or bleachers?

You won't have any problem.  Pretty easy to get to.  Like most stadiums parking is a joke and akin to prison sex.
Bleachers.

Long boring assed drive from B'ham.  Don't make the mistake of going through Dothan, fastest route is through Atlanta.

I don't care. Keep your ass out of my town.  Unless you get hit by an 18 wheeler driven by a drunk who is at least 12 hours past his allowed time and going at least 46 m.p.h. over the speed limit and whose insurance company carries a $5 million liability policy.

Then come on through and give me a call.

Any stadium has to be better than Legion Field though.

No doubt. Probably smells better too. They finally got the HS kids outta there playing the Super Six. I think that started this year, rotating b/w Jordan-Hare and Bryant-Denny? Too bad UAB still has to play there. They probably don't mind the road games.

Started in 2009. Jordan-Hare West was first. Jordan-Hare was this year.

It actually started last year at Jordan Hare West.  With Legion Field being so run down and in the nicest of areas, why the hell do they play a bowl game there?  What's the fucking great thing about playing in Birmingham?

Hoover maybe? Hell, I don't know. That place is so run down and has had money issues for about a decade now. With UAB being under Turdtown control, its obvious they could give two shits about taking care of the athletic department. They should move the bowl game to Hoover.
