I have been thinking of him as some big football stud... but you look at his face... and he is just a baby. Breaks my heart.
Josiah told Shon's mom about my nephew, and I contacted her on FB - we are going to arrange for Shon and Caleb to talk on the phone or video chat or somehow "meet". K-luv (as my daughter calls him) and his family have been following Shon's story via my FB page, and he refuses to wear anything but his Auburn gear to Football Fridays at his kindergarten - even though this is my husband's side of the family and they are all corndogs! Looks like Shon (with some help from Aunt Jen) has created a convert...
Caleb is still responding well to treatment and is living a pretty normal life. Prayers answered.
