Title: Look at da Prowler
Post by: The Prowler on September 26, 2010, 02:36:28 PM
I was very impressed with how Arkansas stopped Ingram and Richardson.  Ingram had the one 50 or so yarder to start the game (scoped knee my ass).  Richardson had a 70 or so yard draw at the end of the half (when looking to see if a team stopped another teams running game, you take out the garbage yards, and Richardson's 70 yarder is considered garbage yards, since Arkansas had 3 linemen and just about everyone else was standing at the 5 yardline).  So, realistically, SPuat's two headed monster only put up around 170 yards, that's including Ingram's long run.

I do agree that the coaches should've kept running them in the Redzone, instead of having McElRoy throwing it.  Arkansas' RB, Knile Davis, did have a few good runs.  But, it seemed like SPuat was letting him get those runs.

All in all...What a fuckin' weekend in College Football.  Spuat escapes by the hair on their teeth.  Ohio State stomps the shit outta Eastern Michigan.  Boise State is thanking their lucky stars that they didn't play that game in Corvalis.  TCU is sending a thank you letter to the NCAA for putting SMU on the Death Penalty.  Oklahoma should've been beaten...Again, Texas got Donkey Punched by UCLA.  Auburn basically did the unthinkable and beat a very good South Cackalacky team (Take that Tom Luginbile and your stupid little smirk when David Pollack picked Auburn to win).  Georgia lost Again, MSU is a strong team.  Penn State isn't as good as the bammers led everyone to beleive they were.

Well, if you take away those two TDs AU scored in the 4th, and Garcia's fumble, AU didn't really win.

I know, it's difficult to decipher sometimes. You just have to know what to throw out, what to keep in, and what to just totally skew to make your point. I'm just glad that Prowler knew that Arkansas actually shut down our ground game before anybody else knew.

Well, if you take those two fumbles we lost and they scored, then Auburn won again.

I'm watching the replay right now without skreet knowledge. Can we still win?

Yeah, but if you put in Dyer as the QB and Newton in as a DB, then Auburn loses again.

Unless they don't.

Or Trovon Reed at wildcat and Newton at RB and Dyer as a recceiver which is certainly a possibility, though gimicky.

I meant to let the cat out of the bag yesterday that this would happen. Didn't I send you a message a few weeks ago that this was going to happen, although, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't? I was going to ask Trovon himself, but I decided I would just be my own source.

Reed doesn't like to be bothered by adoring fans, overheard in an adjoining booth at a Phoenix City Waffle House. Keep it under your hat.

I am Reed's Godfather.  I found him in a basket as a baby, taught him how to play football, then brought him back to his parents.  He will win 14 Heisman trophies.

Unless I didn't, and he doesn't.

A few guys on the team This guy on another message board said Reed chose Auburn because the blanket he was wrapped in while he was in the basket was blue and orange. I heard Kirby Smart then went into the local hardware store and bought Reed's parents a Coke and a Charger, and they were pissed because they already ditched him.

That, and he was hurled into the sky as a child at dusk.  He loved the colors so much he caught the sun and scored a touchdown.  Then, he feasted on dinosaur baby meat.  I know this because I cook for the team, unless I can't cook.

You probably cook for the team, but if you don't, I wouldn't be surprised at all if you didn't.

Unless you didn't leave, and you aren't sad.  Then you would be here and happy... I know this because I talked to the guy who Token bought shoe polish remover from...He is my friends uncle.  Unless...It was just me, which it isn't.

"Rise and Rise, Then The Sheep Shall Become The Lion."

Heeeheeeeeheeeeeheeeee

Btw, Arkansas did do a good job of stopping SPuat's RBs....only giving up 170 yards is pretty good for their defense.  Also, Cam "Superman" Newton had more yards rushing than the two headed monster, against a better defense (#1 Rush D in the SEC before Saturday night, #8 today after Cam and Dyer got through with them).  None of Cam Newton runs were a result of just about the entire defense giving him a 50 yard head start (like Trent's 72 yarder with :08 left in the half).  Boom Mutha Fucka!!!!

A few problems with this statement.....

Alabama rushed for 227 yards, not 170. I know you're using your skewed math again, but your reasoning for using it is incredibly stupid here.

The above yardage is the most rushing offense Arky has allowed this season. Even your skewed math figure of 170 yards has not been allowed by them. May not mean much due to the lack of opposition they have seen, but you're the one bringing up how only allowing 170 is pretty good for Arkansas' D.

If we're going simply by statistics, Arkansas is a better team overall than USCe. Their defense was #10 in the country prior to Saturday, and their total offense was #15. And while USCe has a good rush defense, their pass defense was ranked 101st. This is just statistics alone.

Unless we are also lions, that dress in blue hyena suits to pump up the lion crowd.  That has to be it, because I talked (texted) two current lions (actually someone that just writes about lions) and they told me we would dress up like blue hyenas.  Unless we didn't, because we changed our minds at the last minute.

I don't like it. I prefer the traditional hyena.

I've decided.  If we beat yall this year, and after Saturday that's looking like a good sized "if", I'm going to get hammered and rammer jammer the fuck out of prowler via my cell phone.  Then I'm gonna send that shit to him through his skreets (video message).

See now I'm thinkin', maybe Prowler's the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9 Milimeter here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could mean you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. Now I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd.
