Title: Georgia can't catch a break....
Post by: The Prowler on September 26, 2010, 01:45:18 PM
LBer Demetre Baker was arrested last night, I'm guessing DUI.  I've never seen a football team come apart at the seems and crumble this quickly.

Go back and watch Auburn's 2008 season.  That compares...

Unless they aren't.

It isn't the same, at all.  Auburn's rotted spots weren't known until after the Vanderbilt game, week 5 I think.  Plus, there wasn't arrests happening once or twice a week on average and the NCAA wasn't snoopin' around while putting our only Star player on the bench.  Hell, at this point in '08, Auburn was 3-1/4-0?  The only similarities are the Head Coaches, both are great people, great record, yada, yada, yada.

Auburn didn't win the Fulmer Cup that year.  Even at our worst, our off field behavior was not nearly as bad as GA's.

Don't even think about staying on topic.

Georgia should make the best hire, Coach Dan Mullens.  Neither Muschamp nor Smart have HC experience and I don't think either would make a good HC.  Coach Mullens, on the other hand, is a really good HC, it's just that he's playing with MSU talent.  The same MSU talent that beat UGA's.
