We just listed to the left on takeoff.  No joke.

We were up at the Shakespeare Festival last weekend. Snagette pointed over to our left and said, "No way."

This woman had to go 485 and was about to try and squeeze those hips into a seat.  Remember at the start of Nutty Professor, when Professor Klump gets called into the Dean's office for a conference, and he has to exhale about 5 seconds before his ass can get between the arms of the chair? I'm not sure if she was actually in the seat, or on top of it.

On a similar note, we were thankful it wasn't a sellout, and plenty of seats behind us.  Not sure which one it was, maybe both, but this couple plops down right in front of us, and the body odor was so pungent, I got up and asked the usher to put us somewhere else.  She did, and said that funk hit her on the way in too.

People, even in this economy, a bar of soap is just not that expensive.  Get it.  Use it!!!

If you can’t fit into an airplane seat, buy two.

I get people with problems but the guy next to me today is just fat.  I am 2” inside my seat and he is still touching me at three points because his fat is overlapping everywhere.

Fuck it, even if you have a problem, buy two seats.  Hell, buy first class.  That would be cheaper.

6'2" and 153 lbs? Really? Do you know how hard it is to add bulk for a skinny fella at that age. We saw how a slight PG gets treated in the SEC last season.
I completely agree but 30ppg against air is worth a look.

Hey this is just what I pulled up. And for fear of jinxing a power forward in the portal with a visit this week I won't even mention his name.

Yeah I'm not privy to the value assigned to these gypsies but here's another heavily recruited kid that CBP is courting at point guard. He's a teammate of Howard.

Butch's boys pulled that one out of the fire. 22-24, 4-20 on the year is nasty though.

Fighting with the bottom of the barrel to be king of the bottom is no way to exist.
I guess the one positive here is that they are still fighting.

Well on our way to losing a series to a very mid Ole Miss squad.  :jaw: WTF happened?

Viral

In this 2016 film, a California town deals with the threat posed by a viral - parasite driven - virus infecting the country.

It's so weird seeing these movies that pre-dated the Covid scam predict the ways in which the "here to help" government would curtail daily activities and the draconian measures they'd use. There are tons of similar films (The Crazies, and Contagion come to mind). There are better efforts, too.

This movie was kept alive only by the soft and easy performance of the lead actress - played by Sofia Black-D'Elia. A 25 year old (at the time) convincingly portaying a 16-year old, Sofia was nice to look at and carried herself well. She, and she alone, provided whatever redemption this film contained.

The story was muddled in a lot of ways. There was a briefly touched on mind-hive aspect that was never fully realized.  There was a tacked on "Daddy was cheating on mom" contrivance used only to give the dad a reason to leave Sofia and her sister alone as the virus took control.

Biggest problem was the girl recognizing from a high school lesson (taught by her dad) that a piece of shipping tape could remove the offending worm from its host (at least temporarily, although that part was never fleshed out either).

Then the movie just kind of abruptly ended.

I liked Sofia enough to see if I could find more of her work. Turns out she was the student-humping art teacher in Bryan Cranston's Your Honor series.  She was bedding Cranston's high school son. I remember thinking "no way somebody who looks like that would be interested in a dweeb like him" on first watch.

Is Viral worth watching?  Probably not, but Sofia certainly is (at least to me). I hope she's got more projects coming up soon.

Heard Pink, I think, chatting about him. Sounds like beans dont burn on the grill for this fella...
Might not possess the sprinter speed of D'Angelo Ponds (to Indiana) but this guy can ball according to his stats. Don't know about you dj but I'm not so convinced that Scott isn't a better safety than a corner. Graduation seemed to just have him written in for one of the vacated corner spots.
