To celebrate I think I might just fuck around and get a triple double.

Was he in Kool and the Gang?

Yes....well, sort of yes. Then he went on to form another group called Run DMC.

I remember that. Kaos hated that koonga boonga.

Well, by the early 80's disco was fading out so Cube had to make the smart move to leave Kool and go in a more hippy hoppy direction. Run did very well though so it was a good move. He Cherished the time he had with his old crew but at some point he had to Walk this Way to a newer sound and change with the times.

Using Koonga Boonga in a certain context can get one banned from the X. I have been trying. But, what about Jungle Boogie? I wonder if Wes is ok with that.

Truth told, that was a koonga boonga I enjoyed. Run, Kool, EWF, Rick James, Gap Band, Parliament (and George Clinton), Prince, Morris Day...
Good koonga.
Music died about 20+ years ago. Kind of like comedy. It devolved into a chorus of piss, shit, fuck lyrics (jokes) masquerading as talent. Even the kids know it. Their "music" won't last. Mine? It has a place 40/50 years after its issue. It will still have a place in 100. Theirs? Just a forgettable fart in the wind and they know it.

That’s because you haven’t come across hip-hop blues.
