Title: Arthdal Chronicles
Post by: Kaos on December 30, 2022, 09:50:38 AM
I’m not that far in, but this is a pretty decent show.

It’s basically Game of Thrones for the Korean audience.  It takes a while to figure out the characters and some of the culture differences are a little odd to figure out but it’s so far pretty well plotted.  The acting is good for a Korean show - which relies on *gasp* reaction shots more than American fare.

What I like about it is that - like Game of Thrones - it’s not always easy to figure out who the bad guys are.

Problem is it’s 18 episodes.  Each way over an hour.  I may get to the end but it’ll be a while.

Korean chicks don’t have pubic hair, either. Just like Asian chicks.

If you haven’t yet, try this one on for size.

Fantastic movie.  The remake wasn't horrible, but go for the original.

Season 2.
Nobody told me it was on Hulu.  Different actors for Tanya and Saya.  I prefer the old. The new Saya I don’t much like.  The new Tanya isn’t as eye melting  to look at as the original. But she’s not bad at all.

Not as good as the first but still magnificent sprawling, epic television.

Hope there is a season 3. That looks doubtful now.
