LSU is #1 in the nation. They were throwing their ace on Friday, and about an hour before the game, Bama decided to scratch their #1, and have someone out of the bullpen start. I've heard two scenarios, one of which being the Bama starter was having back issues. The other is, why waste their #1 against one of the best in the game, and try and pick up a win on Saturday.
Either way, sounds like that info was passed on, and someone decided to cash in. Just about didn't, though, because LSU almost blew the lead late.

I honestly didn't think much of it when I heard it talked about on teh radios. I thought it might be something along the lines of a Bama fan going to the game, and finding out the starter was scratched. He calls his buddy and says, "We're about to get our asses smoked. You better bet the farm."

Heard this morning that since the Bohannon news, schools are starting to run their own investigations. Iowa found that about 110 athletes were involved in gambling/betting. Don't know how serious, or if it's just a lot of putting $10 down on the Celtics to cover.
Got a feeling this thing may blow up pretty soon.

As quickly as the coach was fired you'd have to assume he was directly responsible for doing something shady.
With that aside, FUCK the gambling commission. They have every legal advantage in sports booking possible because they make the rules. As soon as some shmuck finds a way to possibly even the playing field, NOPE. Shut it down.
