Title: Safari 5.0.1 Released
Post by: Aubie16 on July 28, 2010, 12:13:29 PM
Not sure how many mac users we have on here but if anybody is interested.

It FINALLY includes extensions. Those of you that use Firefox know how nice things like Ad-Block Plus are. Glad to finally see them on Safari because I do like it better as a browser.

Edit: Obviously not a huge selection so far, since it just launched today. Hopefully developers will start to come up with some more stuff. But Ad-Block is alread working great.

The only thing keeping me from switching full-time to Chrome is that for some reason, they still have a paltry selection of extensions.

You are correct. And Chrome is still in its infancy and is great for most normal web browsing. It is usually slightly faster than Mozilla and light years faster than IE.
