Justice is a dish best served cold. If served warm it would be justwater.

What does a clear, lightly carbonated alcoholic beverage made and distributed by the Coors Brewing Company have to do with any of this?

Got an odd one.  The very end of Captain Phillips.  It's not sad, but more powerful and emotional.  Hanks (Captain Phillips) has just been through physical and psychological hell, and the ship's doctor is checking him out.  He kind of loses it and all those emotions come out. I think it's one of his best acting scenes.

I'm like, holy shit, why am I tearing up?

I know you keed. But have you seen the ending? I thought it was great. Took me watching it a few times to grasp the symbolism of it all.

Somebody please take this franchise away from Arthur Blank.  Sweet Haysus, how inept can you get?

In their last 5 seasons, they are 7-9, 7-9, 4-12, 7-10, 7-10.

So, they try and change their fortunes by hiring Raheem Morris as Head Coach.  Career coaching record?  21-38 Yeah, that's the formula for success.

It looks like they may be trying to head in the right direction by hiring Kirk D. Cousins, Jr. III and signing him to a fat ass contract.  Not a Hall of Famer, but very solid NFL QB, who has some weapons at his disposal.  But, the Falcons can't stop La. Monroe, so obviously, you'll use the #8 pick to start rebuilding the defense.  I thought the Bammer, Dallas Turner, would be a great pick.

Nope, they pick Michael Penis Jr.  24 years old.  Two ACL tears.  Gotta' pay him first round, top 10 money to sit behind the franchise QB you just signed to a 4 year, $180 million deal.

Somebody please put Arthur Blank and this franchise out of our misery.

Hard to disagree here. Its bewildering. Borderline criminal. Penix at 8 was about 15-20 picks too high for him.

But even then, if they had grabbed him at 8 and he was their future they planned on building the franchise around, I would get it. Sometimes teams go after the guy they want, even if it's a reach....Worth top 10 money in that case......

EXCEPT they signed Cousins to 180 million. Thats the kicker. Now you have to high paid QBs on the roster. Just makes zero sense. And Cousins was unaware this was going to happen....even worse.

Pains me to say this but I would have grabbed Dallas Turner.....Falcons needed D studs. And Turner is a complete head hunter, and game changer....even if a Bammer.

Big Fish - with K here, reminded me of my old man

My Dog Skip - seriously, the ending is a real tear jerker. Based on a true story from Willie Morris growing up  in Mississippi in the mid late 40s

Cinderella Man - great ending, not sad, but emotional. Great payoff at the end. Also a true story - Jimmy Braddock played by Russell Crowe wonderfully.

Forrest Gump - when Jenny dies, the grave scene, the birds fly away. You gotta feel for the guy. Hanks did that one well.
