Its the FLU.You're a couple of days behind me. You're exactly where I was on Monday.
Keep yourself clean and take care of yourself the same as you would during FLU season. This virus does not like the heat, it will most likely be gone in a month.
Shutting down everything is stupid. But what the hell, it can't hurt to have a break from the masses(due the contagious nature).
The same as the FLU, it will affect the elderly and those with compromised immunity(and in some cases, the very young).
And yes, you can have it and not know. Just like the FLU, the symptoms range from allergy like, to severe.
Many hospitals are saying please call the health department before coming in. They will ask a battery of questions to determine if you need testing or medical attention. Don't bust up into the ER and give granny with a broken hip the virus. If it has not reached SARS, you will be fine at home. And if you are fine at home, then no one tested you. So yes, you could have it and not know.
Be smart and protect yourself just as you would against the FLU. The mortality rate is not near what they have reported. Its hard to report the know cases when you don't known the known cases.
And if you are starving with a house full of TP and no food, SCREW YOU!
I've said this numerous times, but I'm far more afraid of my fellow man than I am of this virus. Now THAT is truth!
Its the FLU.If you say so Doc. Scientifically, and timeline wise....you are incorrect. They're not even in the same family of viruses... K spelled it out pretty well above as far as it being new and contagious. There is a LOT of unknown. I don't know why the hell being cautious offends so many fucking people. But you are gonna believe what you want. Have fun.
Ok, here it comes. My famous inside sources, here again.Well now, that's comforting to know.
But, I am serious in saying that per a medical source on a “task force†for the virus in Texas —it is real. We are trying to “flatten it out†before it inundates our healthcare system like happened in Italy.
Some of us, maybe most of us, will get it. It’s airborne. No running away. Just try to rough it out at home if possible. Keep fever under control was advice given to me. Stock up on Gatorade rather than toilet paper.
Watch out for your older friends and family. So, we should seriously keep an eye on kaos and snags, all kidding aside.
Well now, that's comforting to know.At least it won’t kill most of us. Just you and kaos.
At least it won’t kill most of us. Just you and kaos.Whew!!! I was worried there for a moment.

Call your local department of health and ask them how to treat it.I called ours and they told me, "Have a coke and a smile and shut the fuck up".
Unless SARS has set in, they are gonna tell you, "TREAT IT LIKE THE FLU".
If you are having trouble breathing, go to the hospital.
Otherwise, "TREAT IT LIKE THE FLU".
Let us know what they tell you.
I called ours and they told me, "Have a coke and a smile and shut the fudge up".Y'all shut up. Little Eddie got a joke to tell.
I think I'll add some fine, brown lick her to my DCP.
I'm going to say this because I feel compelled to do so.Harumph
If you can't get behind this president and everything he's done over the last four years and over the steps he's taking during this entire situation?
Go fudge yourself.
I read some bullshoot from a New York writer yesterday saying how she'd really prefer to go to Italy and take her chances there rather than run the risk of living here under Trump with the virus. I'd pay her fudgeing ticket. fudge her. fudgeing mommy part. I hope she gets over there and fudgeing stays.
President Trump has done a magical job with the economy. If we were still laboring along under the malaise of Obama, this virus situation would have already completely crashed the economy.
The liberals in their whitewashing of all Obama's bullshoot will try to tell you he handled H1N1 better than Trump. He most certainly did not. And at this same stage in its history it was substantially worse. Eventually 60 million in the US got it, 13,000 died. It was also "novel" So far 41 have died. FORTY ONE.
Everything this president is doing is designed to prevent it coming anywhere near that.
Time to get behind him.
HarumphI thought that was Rotten Bottom
The difference between this and the piggie flu of 2009? Media coverage...including the "social justice warriors"
Trump is kicking names and taking ass!
I'm like most and in the middle of the road on this shit. I'm not worried about it. I worry about the dumbasses that are overreacting to it.I don't care who gets it as long as they don't die. The name of the game is to keep the deaths to a minimum.
I still have a full shop of employees (about 100) and we are still just getting it done. We have orders to fill and customers to support. I had two off of first shift that have child care issues because of everyone being out of school. No problem you have just been moved to second shift until all this blows over.
I firmly believe that the reason why we have not had many personnel problems is because I have worked really hard in rooting my employees in reality long before this shit came about. Plus I also had long ago cycled out the dipshits that were always looking for the free ride.
What is going to be funny is over the next week or two when the testing becomes more readily available, I believe you will see a massive spike in the numbers of people infected....Well no shit there are more being tested. Doesn't change how you handle it but mark my words there will be people losing their shit over it and inciting the sheep.
I don't care who gets it as long as they don't die. The name of the game is to keep the deaths to a minimum. It's Trump's fault.
We could have the lowest death toll in the world and the left would still bitch.
It's Trump's fault.Duh. Everything is.

Would you let a person die to save 100? The answer is always yes unless that 1 person is a loved one. Unfortunately for all of us, we are ALL going to die. No way around it. No amount of technology or science can stop it.I think the biggest question for me is, why this one? Why have we gone into what amounts to mass hysteria over Covid-19. How is this one so much different, along with our reaction to it? H1N1 Swine Flu killed 12,469 in the U.S. and 575,400 world wide. We're not even remotely in that ballpark right now. Will we be? I have no clue.
I’m much closer to the “go on with every day life†side than I am the middle ground here. The reason? Where is the line drawn to start everything up again? It took over a year to end the swine flu. We still haven’t ended influenza. How long are we willing to suspend life? Even if it’s through the rest of the year (insane to think about) this stuff may be around for the rest of our existence. It simply doesn’t make sense to destroy economies in an effort to stop the inevitable.
If we all agreed to stop driving cars and walk everywhere we have to go for just 6 months we can save roughly 15,000 people. No telling how much our obesity levels would drop.
If we all agreed to give up our guns we could save roughly 38,000 people a year.
Who decides what death is acceptable and what isn’t?
I am not willing to give up a single liberty for the fear of death when I’m going to die anyway.
I thought the go on with everyday life was the middle ground here.
I’m much closer to the “go on with every day life†side than I am the middle ground here.
I thought the go on with everyday life was the middle ground here.Bunkers in the front yard. What a joke.
On one side you got the fuckos that want the government in charge of everything and the other are the fuckos who are building bunkers in their front yard.

However, a report I saw last week said China, while still dealing with some of it, was pretty much back to normal, meaning this virus will run its course as they all do. Honestly, I don't want anyone to catch it, suffer from it and certainly not die from it. But guess what? Next year will bring a new strain of some sort and they'll give it a weird name like Pine Cone Virus or Ass Juice Flu. Are we going to decide that what we're doing now in quarantining ourselves and shutting down the entire economy, is the proper response?

The answer to why we seem to do anything in this country lately is "Orange man bad"Of course, Blue Man could do no wrong.
I thought the go on with everyday life was the middle ground here.I will dig a bunker with a teaspoon if it will protect me from the ass juice flu. Count on it.

I had it out with a few attorneys yesterday. We are members of an email group of plaintiff attorneys where we bounce ideas and questions off each other. Quite the liberal bunch and yesterday they posted something written by Prez Bush in 2005 on how to prepare for a pandemic. They were slamming Trump for being unprepared blah blah freakin' blah, and quoting the NYT to back up their position. When you plagerize from Kaos and I, get your numbers straight. The 81000 is from china.
My response was along the lines of as of today, there are 81,000 reported infections in the U.S with under 150 deaths. In 2009, we had a pandemic that infected over 61 MILLION Americans and killed over 12,400. The measures we are all taking under Trump are unprecedented. Never, ever happened before. What exactly did Obama do while the hospitals were overrun with sick people? What measures of preparedness did he mandate once we came out of it? And the very edict you posted from Bush was 4 years before that. Answer: he did NOTHING!!! Not a damn thing.
And here's the problem I have. How many times have we heard that hospitals around the country are not equipped to handle something like this? My question is what in the hell did you fail to learn from the pandemic in 2009? Why didn't you realize that something like this could be a major problem in the future and make the necessary preparations for when something like this hits? Why are you saying now that you are unprepared? Oh yeah, it's Trump's fault.
Illinois going on lock down tomorrow. Stay safe and healthy, my brothers!!! War Damn Eagle and FUGA.Inspirational words, indeed.
When you plagerize from Kaos and I, get your numbers straight. The 81000 is from china.Pffffft....I'm a lawyer. I never let facts get in the way of a good debate.
The US is at 15000 now.
However, you are correct. This thing is horrible and will kill us all, because of trump...
He's been in that location for over 15 years and now, the Corona virus hysteria could wipe him out in a few short weeks. Its not hysteria. haven't you seen Italy?
And still we just keep making product and shipping it out.Kaos???
Folks are running around like a guinea hit in the head with a pine cone.
Inspirational words, indeed. At least your practice has been offering drive thru legal services for years. No need for adjustments.
You guys do the same. A good friend of mine owns an Atlanta Bread Company franchise I've been stopping at several mornings a week on the way to work for years. It's right on the main road in Dothan and they've been widening the road in that area and working on it for 5-6 months now. They've had entrances blocked and making access to his business, and those around it, one hell of a hassle. He's been telling me how bad it's been affecting business and now, this morning I go there and all the chairs are up on the tables and the sign on the door says there is no dine in, only curb service. The City has shut down everything in the restaurant business except delivery, drive thru and curb service. He has no drive thru.
He said the bank deferred his next payment for 3 months but his fixed costs alone will bankrupt him before then. He was loading up two coolers with food and ice and said he and the wife are headed to the beach for the weekend. Can't do much down there either except drink and forget the world for a couple of days. He's been in that location for over 15 years and now, the Corona virus hysteria could wipe him out in a few short weeks.
At least your practice has been offering drive thru legal services for years. No need for adjustments. When is he going to start doing ZJs in the back?
At this point, lock every fucking thing down. Mandate a total lock down for 4 weeks, order businesses to continue paying employees their normal pay for those 4 weeks and completely reimburse the businesses for all payroll expenses during those times. These are good ideas. And I believe that you should be safe, living in the closet.
At the end of 4 weeks unless we have a 50% mortality rate, go back to life as usual.
Also pay the employers the amount of profit they lost during the 4 weeks.
When is he going to start doing ZJs in the back?1984
So obviously you fuckers have not been posting anything and keeping me entertained. What are you doing? We're open for business but not actually open for business. Closed our doors to the public and getting it done by phone and emails of the interwebz. We're not essential business, but I need the money.
Me? Well we are full out producing. Technically we are considered essential business since we are tied to construction. Have had a couple of people that have opted to take a 15 leave of absence and I certainly am ok with it. They are either in a high risk category or tending elderly parents.

It looks like our ops people are going to have a better employment pool to choose from, which should help getting some decent people in too.
MSNBC says half of America is going to die and the other half will be unemployed. So you should be good.I have been on a roller coaster on how big of a deal this is and at the moment, I think this is WAY overblown.
MSNBC says half of America is going to die because of Trump and the other half will be unemployed also because of Trump. So you should be good.Fixed it for you.
Been working my ass off getting overtime. Meat cutter for Pubelicks here. You mother truckers need to quit hoarding meat. Oh... people are DYING!! For fuck's bleeding sake. More people die of cancer every day. Smoking, chewing still legal. More people die of alcohol-related illnesses in a single day than have died from this fucking virus world-wide in total. Liquor store's still open. More people will die from the regular fucking flu this season than from this virus.
But our esteemed governor, the dumbest bitch in the state, knows absolutely nothing about anything so she shuts down business to some random date in the future.
This is the wrong way to fight this. Assuming there's really anything to fight.

It's airborne. Nobody's admitting that yet. It is. Distancing? That's just for show.
We're not evaluating the reality, we're letting the worst-case scenario screamers drive the narrative.
I've never been a doctor, but I do pay attention. My take? The vast majority of us are essentially immune to it. It's already on us or will be and we will barely notice it if we do at all. Even with all this "distancing" the contact rate will end up at close to 100%. You WILL come in contact with it if you haven't already. Those who are already compromised with some other illness? They'll struggle -- just like they do with the flu, staph or any other infection. Some people who are seemingly otherwise healthy will not react well to it. Just like with the regular flu. Last year the same flu that I had, ended up killing a guy here who was younger than me and who worked out every day, etc. It just went wrong for him. This will go the same way.
You want to know what I'm sick of?
CBS REPORTER, 54, DIES OF COVID-19!!!1!!!
Is that so? Well she was 54. Died. But if you read further, she had been "battling" various forms of cancer for 20 years. She was already out on medical leave and had been for three months. Did she have it? Maybe. But it was just one straw in a complicated medical mix.
PATIENT AT THOMAS HOSPITAL DIES OF COVID-19!!!11!!1!
Is that so? Well he died. But if you read further, he'd had two bouts of lung cancer in the last 18 months. Was undergoing chemotherapy and immuno-therapy. His daughter claims he had "survived" lung cancer as of late February. Survived? Is that the reality? So maybe he had COVID-19. I don't know. But did THAT kill him or did getting some additional infection push him over the rubicon? Would he have succumbed to pneumonia, staph, a cold or any other viral infection in his current state? If we hadn't named this disease, would it be noted in passing that he died of "complications" and gone by utterly unnoticed?
I don't want anybody to be sick.
But we've somehow got to wrestle the narrative back to common sense and away from the deranged fear factor sect.
It's not like people are paying attention anyway. I had to go move my daughters back from college yesterday and today. Streets still full. Long lines at Chick Fil A, Starbucks, McDonalds, Popeyes...
Nuance, chief. Here is my question: is the precedent now set for the public to overreact to every flu season? Next mysterious disease? Heat wave?

Are we setting ourselves up for a cycle of shutdown-slow roll back-full back-outbreak-shutdown?
IMO, Yes!Wait until unemployment hits 40%, and then see governors start backing off this shut down stuff.
Here is my question: is the precedent now set for the public to overreact to every flu season? Next mysterious disease? Heat wave? Not unless Trump is in office.
Are we setting ourselves up for a cycle of shutdown-slow roll back-full back-outbreak-shutdown?
Not unless Trump is in office.Gets it 100%.
Remember that I told you two days before the research started to trickle out that this virus is airborne. You say so much that you are bound to eventually say the stuff that will eventually come true. It’s really a matter of how much you have said.
As such, it's probably not containable.
Everything else I've said will also come true.
I have no idea if the Coronas have anything to do with gas prices, but I just filled up the F-150 for $29.00. Now, that's something I could get used to.15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issues the stay-at-home quarantine order. I haven't read anything on this yet, but I've heard several people say he's closing Florida's borders as well.I have no idea re what is deemed an essential business. But I do know as far as reputation goes in the Wiregrass region, if it were not for your partner and staff, legalzoom would be considered a better resource.
So far, we're considered in that "gray area" of essential businesses so we're open for business but closed to the public. We've been prepping ourselves the last couple of days for that order to close and stay yo ass at home. I've got a feeling that's coming sooner than later.
I have no idea if the Coronas have anything to do with gas prices, but I just filled up the F-150 for $29.00. Now, that's something I could get used to.There is an oil war going on between Russia and Saudi Arabia. This also affects the stock market. But you won't hear about it from the liberal media.

Samuel L, specifically for KIt's just so generous of all these millionaire celebrities to preach to the little people about what we need to do and it's so easy. Excuse them while they tend to the north wing of their mansions on the hill.

Back to the virus. Does anyone know anyone who has the virus? These guys?
Back to the virus. Does anyone know anyone who has the virus?Yes. One of my employees tested positive for it two weeks ago. He got it from his father who had gotten it from some folks at church.
How strictly are you guys handling the quarantine? I feel like I'm being pretty safe for the most part, but I imagine many would say I'm not. I still go to the store for groceries and the lick her store for the quarantine juice. I've been to Lowe's a couple of times as well. I haven't been wearing a mask or gloves, but I'm starting to feel in the minority and people be looking at you like, "Why you the only fool not masked up?"Our business is such that we had good social spacing anyway so that really has not been much of a change business wise.
Whenever I do go to the store, I make sure and keep my distance from anyone and everyone as much as possible. I don't feel like I'm being irresponsible, but the lady at the liquor store the other day who was spraying everything in front of her down with Lysol and having the manager pissed to the point of kicking her out, would say I probably am.
We've cooked a ton more meals at home, but I'm still trying to hit the drive-thru or curbside service of as many local restaurants as possible. The one thing I will say is that when I am around people, I'm 100% cognizant of my surroundings and any potential hazards.
My opinion on this has swung wildly over time. This x 10000
I've always been a little germ-phobic. I'm one of the weirdos that wipes down the carts at the grocery store before I touch it. Keep hand sanitizer in my truck so I can hit it when I touch things like gas pumps, ATM pads. That's gotten worse over time.
It really started when I read The Stand. Chapter 8 in that book clearly illustrates virus gets spread. Should be required reading. It stuck in my head and my behavior slowly changed over time. It's cost me. I've had clients catch me hitting the sanitizer after shaking hands and looking offended. I refused to go to my parent's house one Christmas because one of my siblings insisted on bringing his kids - two of which were suffering from stomach virus and/or fluish fevers. Caused a rift in the family and somehow it was MY fault when everyone who went was throwing up within three days of being exposed.
So when this started up, I was dismissive. Just show a little restraint, do some extra self-care and it'll be fine.
Then Fauci kept beating the drum. I thought the guy was credible. I decided maybe his advice was worth following. Keep your distance, let it run its course. I even agreed with the temporary shut down.
I'm over it now.
First, there are things we simply aren't being told. I am firmly convinced that:
1) this virus (whatever it is) is airborne and does not require contact transmission
2) It's been around a lot longer than they are saying. There were people you knew and were in contact with who had "unknown respiratory infections" after Thanksgiving that tested negative for flu, strep, bronchitis, etc. They had it.
3) Everyone is going to come in contact with it no matter what we do. For the vast, vast majority of us it is utterly benign. We won't even notice. We come in contact with thousands of things like that every day.
4) The deaths attributed to "COVID-19" are WILDLY, GROSSLY overstated. Maybe they've come in contact with the virus, but many of these people were already at death's door. Yes, there are some that it kills but the same goes for flu, shingles, and dozens of other things that most people recover from. New York City is tagging virtually every death as COVID related even when there's no direct connection. Despite this? The average number of deaths in NYC is *get this, because it's important* ESSENTIALLY UNCHANGED over the number of deaths in any other random year. Screaming about the COVID deaths when the total mortality rate hasn't changed? Why do I smell something foul? It's not decomposing bodies. New York City averages about 6,000 deaths per month. On March 31 they claimed 1000 total COVID deaths. There is no statistically significant increase over the average number of total deaths for that span. (Bear in mind that the media is quietly hyping all deaths in the state as NYC, which isn't true. If you spread it out to the entire state, the death rate STILL hasn't changed. Let that sink in. No. More. People. Are. Dying. Than. Were. Dying. A. Year. Ago. No statistically significant change.
5) We are being lied to. Period. Fauci is lying and I don't know why. People are lying on social media for attention. I went to Mobile yesterday. There are no lines at testing centers. No full emergency rooms. No swarms at the hospitals. The media is lying. They're using stock footage. They're stirring up fear.
I'm going to un-quarantine myself. I'm going to go back to the same common-sense precautions I took when the regular flu or some other bug was out there.
This national panic is bullshit.

The reapers continue to spread the fear.Like NYC counting deaths for COVID19 on untested people?
Now they are saying that people are dying at home from this and the numbers will be huge.
This article is supposition at best. No evidence at all. You wanna know why more deaths are occurring at home? Could it possibly be the stay at home mandates? People that would normally die outside of the house are now stuck at home. Have the number of people dying at work or out and about dropped? They won't tell you that. Just spread the fear.
https://www.propublica.org/article/theres-been-a-spike-in-people-dying-at-home-in-several-cities-that-suggests-coronavirus-deaths-are-higher-than-reported?fbclid=IwAR0KORNkB3dbs_c4BEFJGJy3S6wC-R-CW0WHFtcERdNb5wRiHKaGZ4BbKu8
A couple of things. First, I finally know someone in a real fight for her life against this virus. She is a little older and I believe would qualify as being in the high risk category. The thing that compounds the situation is that from the moment she entered the hospital, she will never see family or friend again unless she pulls through.I certainly hope and pray that your friend pulls through. I knew 2 that had it. 50/50 survived.
Now that we're over 26,000 deaths nationally and steadily adding over 1,000 every day, I don't care if the numbers may be somewhat inflated in certain circumstances. I also don't care that more people die each year from the common flu. This shit is serious and needs to be handled as such. Having said that, I continue to believe the response has been way over the top. Yes, I think shutting down sporting events and gatherings where tens of thousands of people will literally be shoulder to shoulder is just plain common sense. Forcing the shutter of "non-essential" businesses is just plain idiocy. Non-essential becomes essential real quick when you lose your livelihood. People should be left to make their own decisions and choose whether or not they want to keep their business open, go shopping or quarantine themselves. If you're scared of contracting it, keep yourself away from folks. Your decision.
As I've said before, my fear is that next year, when the newest, funky named flu virus comes around, this reaction will start up all over again. Below is a copy/pasta from the bookfaces written by a CRNA in New York. Kind of echoes what many have said on here.
Ok, here comes the rant and I apologize ahead of time, but I really can’t take it any more. I am a CRNA working 14 hour days in the heart of NYC in an ICU. I have been here over 2 weeks now. I have seen and experienced things I would not wish on anyone. People truly have been sick and dying right before our eyes with very little that we felt we could do for some because of the extent of their coexisting diseases sometimes. That being said, we are not, nor have we ever been at full capacity. We have consistently kept at least 15-20 beds available since we opened (We are 68 beds of Covid only patients), even at the peak census last Friday. Over Easter Sunday we did not have a single admit. And now we are allowing a few staff to leave for home by the end of the week.
I say all this because I hear talk of extending the social distancing and people fearfully saying we need to just stay home for longer. I see posts from friends saying it is too soon to open America back up for business. Let me be quite clear about this, if you think a hospital which statistically makes most ALL of their money on elective surgery can remain open by only taking on Covid patients, you do not understand basic finance.
And for those hospitals with low PPE, it is not because they cannot get any. We have plenty here and change it out multiple times a shift. Most hospitals reduced their supplies of PPE when Obamacare reimbursements took away their ability to reinvest in things like stock. Now that we have cut off their biggest source of revenue, how are they supposed to buy more and keep their full staff (including outpatient surgery and clinic staff) employed without their cash cow?
It has been over a month since outpatient surgeries were stopped, since scheduled heart caths and tumor removals and important preventive measures were stopped. How many people will now die of a cancer that could have been caught early or a heart attack that could have been prevented before the American Public gets it? Stop living in fear, people. This is a terrible virus and I am not for a minute saying we don’t take precautions and protect those we love. Use masks. Wash hands. Those with heart disease, diabetes, obesity and high blood pressure must especially be careful and if possible remain quarantined. We are learning quickly about those at greatest risk, so as a nation we can help those who are at greater risk, but we cannot continue to shut down hospitals, clinics, and businesses for the sake of something that may never happen (a flooding of the healthcare system). Nurses are being laid off. Doctors are shutting down their clinics. Businesses are being closed. The cure CANNOT be worse than the disease.
I am sharing the video my good friend, Suzy Redd, posted as it gives you a very stark difference from the lies being perpetuated by the media.
Above all, our faith right now must be firmly planted in God. We cannot live in a spirit of fear. This is the time for the church to rise up and reach out. We can help those that have immune compromising health issues. We can help those who are jobless seeking work. That is what Christ has called us to do in the first place.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
As Americans we have a Constitution that guides us, NOT politicians. It is time for us to demand our congressmen and senators, on both the state and federal level, abide by the constitution and allow Americans to get back to work.
I certainly hope and pray that your friend pulls through. I knew 2 that had it. 50/50 survived.Let me tell you something you prick with ears. Keep on talking that shit. Just keep it up and eventually, a good ass whoopin' is headed your way. I'm only going to say this once, so you'd better listen good, if that's possible. IT WAS ON THE INTERNET, SO IT'S TRUE.

Here's the thing, she lives in a very rural area, hadn't traveled anywhere, hasn't had contact with hardly anybody from the outside world, etc. went to the hospital because she was sick (again) and now suddenly SHE GOT THE VAAAARUUUSSS!!! Oh Jeeaysus! People freaking out.Seriously. Herd immunity. For me in this thing it was ALWAYS about protecting the older or more at risk folks. Not so much myself. Herd immunity is how we fight damn near everything every winter. And it doesn’t work if the whole population is holed up in their houses.
Does she actually "have" it? I don't know. If she does, it is only worsening conditions that were already prevalent with her. At this point I'm not sure what "having" it means.
I'm going on another rant...
1) This is some man-made experimental shit. It's not a traditional virus and it's not going to respond as a traditional virus would. Did we make it and some fucked up version of Chapters 1 and 8 of The Stand turn it loose? Did China make it and send it out into the world as a test to see just how much havoc a minor version could release before they set the big-bad-bug that decimates free society loose? Did Bill Gates, Hillary, Soros and those evil fucks have a hand in making it so they could destroy the economy that Trump created in an effort to prevent him from retaining power and further empowering the average American citizen while he trashed their fucktarded "globalization" efforts? Maybe some of all of it.
2) It's NEVER been as bad as the media and the chicken little Fauci fuck have tried to make it out to be. Never. They somehow buffaloed Trump into this massive overreaction.
3) I think we all have it or have been exposed to it at this point. As far as viruses go, it's a pretty weak little fucker unless you fit into certain categories. The vast majority of us are likely immune and have been from the jump.
Let my people go.
I certainly hope and pray that your friend pulls through. I knew 2 that had it. 50/50 survived.Snags is always creeping at the old ladies during bingo night. They get crazy. Just the way he likes it.

Is it over yet?Serious question. Have you ever been wrong?
Florida beaches are about to open back up this weekend. I know a number of business owners who have reached the "fuck it" stage and are about to quietly resume operations. People as a whole are starting to wake up to the fact that you can't really allow the government to tell you to stay at home. It's not American. The government can provide you information and inform you of the risks, but if you're free? You have the right to take that risk.
We are ALWAYS at risk. Every day. Everything we do is a calculated risk. No government (federal, state or local) truly has the right to tell me I cannot open my business. Employees can choose to stay home and I can accommodate them (or not). Customers can stay away, at which point I have a decision to make. But I'm just not sure the government actually has the authority to close my business or anyone else's unilaterally like this.
First please note that despite the dismissiveness of some(wes)one on here, Kaos was 1000% right on every bit of this shit (as usual).
This virus, such as it is, is most likely man-made in China. You, we, will never find out the truth but if you did you'd likely find Bill Gates, George Soros, Hillary Clinton and others of that ilk lurking in the background. There was something fishy (or batty) about this from the very beginning. Too many things didn't add up/make sense. And Kaos TOLD YA'LL'S ASS what was up from the jump.
Second? The absolute panic unleashed by the dire predictions from Chicken Little Fauci, that shrimpy Demented Dr. Death fuck, is completely unwarranted. It is a balls out over-reaction and if anything, has worsened the situation.
a) The massive run on hospitals hasn't happened and won't happen. Those frightening tent cities they built that were all over the news? Those fucking things are quietly being dismantled because NOBODY EVERY WENT TO ONE. They stood empty. Don't believe the fucking sad-sack commercials of nurses with their faces scarred from plague masks. They are BULLSHIT. Wear a mask to the grocery store and get a few things. Your face will look like that too.
Here's a conversation I had with an actual nurse two days ago. It started with some self-serving picture she was sending around with the comment "I can't shelter in place, I'm a nurse holding down the front lines of this war!" on it. She followed that with "hospitals simply can't keep up with the overwhelming need. People are literally dying and we can't do anything about it. All we can do is our best and pray that God leads us through this wilderness." So I asked her how many COVID patients she's seen. Two. She's seen two. One is/was critical and is also 84 years old. So she's overwhelmed? No, but she's sure they will be, we haven't reached the peak yet. Really? So what's her 'peak expectation'? Thousands. Could be thousands. Based on what? People not practicing social distancing, THAT'S what! Are you questioning how serious this is, or what we're going through? What are you going through, really. Two patients in over a month? How DARE I diminish the round-the-clock work being put in by doctors and nurses, they are the REAL heroes in this fight. We'll never win with idiots like you out there. *sigh* Two patients since March 16. Two. Amen.
Kaos told you all this was bullshit from the start. Remember that.
b) The number of COVID deaths is greatly exaggerated. Don't believe me? Look at the statistics. Even though we've suffered such a tremendous loss from this dreaded pandemic, we can take comfort and solace in the fact that other diseases have been miraculously cured. While COVID deaths spiked, the number of people dying from heart disease, pneumonia and the regular flu plummeted to historic lows!! We are so, so truly blessed!!
It's bullshit people. Kaos told you and is telling you again.
c) I don't care if you stay six feet away, ten feet away or wrap yourself in a condom. You WILL get exposed to this and in all likelihood already have been. A very small number of you will show any symptoms. Of that minuscule number, a tiny percentage will notice anything beyond some mild aggravation. Of that even tinier number, a teeny fraction will actually suffer harmful effects. BUT THOSE ARE THE MOTHERFUCKERS WE WILL SEE ALL OVER FACEBOOK AND THE MEDIA! Fuck the 100,000 who have/had it and weren't bothered. Let's focus elsewhere so Fear Factor can ramp up again.
It's all bullshit. This is a man-made virus/bug. It is a test. Somebody is testing something either for the release of a true pandemic or to see just how far we will let the government go in stripping away our freedoms in the name of safety.
We are giving away things now that we will never get back. The "stimulus money" is all well and good (I won't get a single cent of it, dammit) but at the same time it has reached out and put a hook in every single person in the country who takes it. It's made them/us ignore our innate American spirit of freedom, hard work, enterprise and sacrifice and latched us firmly on the government titty.
And Kaos done told you again.
Serious question. Have you ever been wrong?I once thought you were funny. Does that count?
I once thought you were funny. Does that count? That’s really not even debatable. You were correct then. Wait.

Guvnah Kay Aahvih announces the first steps of reopening the economy in Alabama. Any of you Florida boys (Wes) know what DeSantis is doing in your State? Heard he's going to be fairly aggressive. from the dot I am a gay twerker that has no balls!!!! I also have no idea how to use the quote function to post stories, so I annoy the piss out of others. Alabama is taking its first steps in reopening the state in a plan dubbed “Safer at Home.â€
Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey announced Tuesday the current stay-at-home order due to coronavirus will be allowed to expire April 30 with the new plan in place May 1 - 15.
“What our citizens have done is working,†Ivey said. “As of this week we no longer believe our hospitals will see an overwhelming number of ICU patients who need ventilators and that is good news. This is the first phase in what we hope is a multi-phase reopening of our state. I know it will please some and make others frustrated that we are not going far enough.
“Our intent was never to pick winners and losers as some have suggested,†she added.
What’s changing:
People are encouraged to stay at home and practice good sanitation procedures but the stay-at-home order is lifted.
Most businesses may open subject to sanitation and social-distancing guidelines.
All retail stores will be allowed to reopen, subject to sanitation and social-distancing guidelines. Occupancy will be limited to 50 percent.
Beaches will reopen with no gatherings of 10 people or more allowed. People must maintain 6 feet of separation.
Elective medical procedures will restart with all COVID-19-related rules and guidelines from the state in place.
What’s not changing:
Restaurants, bars and breweries remain limited to take-out, curbside or delivery.
Non work-related gatherings of 10 people or more are prohibited. Drive-in gatherings are permitted if people stay in their cars with members of their own household.
Senior citizen centers remain closed except for meal pickup or delivery.
Funeral services still limited to 10 attendees who are kept 6 feet apart.
Schools remain closed for in-person instruction, with an exception for “daytime special activities programs.â€
Child care facilities remain limited to 12 people or less per room.
Strict visitation policies remain in place for hospitals and nursing homes.
Entertainment venues, such as night clubs, theaters and bowling alleys will be closed.
Athletic facilities such as gyms will be closed.
Close-contact service providers such as barber shops, hair salons, nail salons, gyms and tattoo service will remain closed.
State Health Officer Scott Harris said he is aware that the reopening of salons, gyms and other type of close-contact businesses is being closely watched.
“The risk category is different in those than other types of businesses,†Harris said. “We hope to address that very soon.â€
Pensacola Beach opens Friday. 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. No restaurants or bars open. Lucky may hangout serves food with a deck and a bar. I can sit there and drink for hours with a menu while I decide what I want for takeout.I believe Panty Bra City has the beaches open for 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening. I saw where someone posted a beach video from Bud & Alley's in Seaside a couple of days ago so maybe that area is opening back up some.

It's the understatement of the century to say there are some pissed off people here and around the country. Hard to explain to one small business owner why he/she still can't open up while the huge retail box store down the street can fill their parking lot with customers. I've got a couple of buddies who are gym owners, including the one I go to. In my gym, there are sanitary wipe dispensers all over the place and a huge bottle of hand sanitizer at the front desk. The owner didn't put them out just for this pandemic. They've been there since he opened and it's been his policy since day one that you wipe down whatever you used when you move on. He can't open his doors, but Lowe's and Home Depot and Publix etc. can make an absolute killing off this thing.Hush your mouth. My stock valuation in Publix is being announced today. I'm going to be rich. We only do about 11 billion a year. We've done 1 billion each of the last 6 weeks.
Safety measures have been drilled into our heads 24/7 for weeks on end. We got it. Let people use common sense. If I want to go to the gym, or go shop for some new kicks or go get a haircut, (Not that that's been a problem for me) let me make that decision. I've said from the start that I get shutting down sporting events, concerts and the like where thousands will be shoulder to shoulder. But I think I can go to Academy Sporting Goods and look around without breathing on anybody or vice versa.

According to a new study children don’t pass the coronavirus on to adults. If true, given the fact that the mortality rate for kids from this virus is near zero, this would mean we shut down schools for no reason: https://t.co/6gjkxTwA14?amp=1
Question: Can you name one product/service etc. that has run a commercial not using the Virus/Cyrus as a selling point?Roto Root-Her Pleasure Machines have so far avoided this trend.
Kraft Macaroni & Cheese understands that during this time, we're all in this together, so our Mac & Cheese is made with real milk and....
At Subway, we're here for you as we all get through this together....
Your local Ford dealership understands that we're alone together.
Lays Potato Chips understands that social distancing means we're all alone together in this thing where we're alone....or something.
I've heard multiple times from Fuckci and some of these other asshats (our own guvhah included) that "we can't guarantee your safety."I have gone to calling her Poison Ivey

Yes. That damn Descovey rump ranger medicine they keep peddling! Sick bastages. If you have moderate to severe anal chafing, ask your doctor if Descovey may be right for you. Side effects may include lymphoma, testicular cramping, headaches, nausea, leprosy and explosive diarrhea. Don't take Descovey if you're allergic to Descovey. Enjoy your anal poundings more with Descovey.
I've heard multiple times from Fuckci and some of these other asshats (our own guvhah included) that "we can't guarantee your safety."Its not unlike most other illnesses in that regard. You always try to toe a fine line in exposing your immune system to bugs and avoiding super ugly ones to an extent. We have an immune system for a purpose.
Well FUCK me. Isn't part of being an American the freedom to take risks?
My safety isn't guaranteed when I roll out of bed. I could slip, hit my head and be Wiregrassy the rest of my life.
My safety isn't guaranteed when I pull my truck out onto the road. I could get distracted and run in a ditch. I could pull out in front of another car. My gas tank could explode.
My safety wasn't guaranteed when I shopped at the store before this shit went on. The guy who used the buggy (cart if you're a yankee) before me could have AIDS, the flu, some viral shitting infection, open sores, or any of a million other diseases which could crawl on my hands and infect me. Each of them has a higher mortality rate than this shit.
My safety wasn't guaranteed riding a bike, breathing the air, eating out (I could tell you stories of the despicable and vile things we did to food when I briefly worked at Pizza Hut in high school), zipping up my pants, taking a flight, hammering a nail, cooking on my grill, etc.
There IS NO GUARANTEE OF SAFETY. We do as we've always done. Explain the risks and let people make their own decisions.
This bullshit where every commercial is showing the brave nurses and doctors who are on the front lines? FUCK THAT. There are no front lines. The idiot fuck out banging pans at 7 am? Somebody needs to bang that pan over his head.
We have allowed this country to be taken over, proving to all of our enemies (here and abroad) just how easy it would be to herd us like fucking sheep. Fauci? Enemy.
"Guaranteed Safety" absolutely CANNOT be the standard. Otherwise we will never be allowed to leave home for any reason.
Do not attempt to guarantee my safety. The sky isn't falling.

Well guys, welcome to the new normal.Keep pushing it, Mister. Keep pushing it.
I'm sick to fucking death of celebrities and quasi-celebrities:One of the warning signs that we had established re when it would be time to call the old folks home to reserve a room is when you said something derogatory about KISS, its members or stopped dressing up like them.
1) Telling me to say inside or wash my hands
2) Saying that we're all in this together when we're not (*fuck them)
3) "Performing" and sending it out (and yeah, unfortunately that includes you too Paul Stanley)
4) Doing commercials to promte all three of the above things
I tried to watch a little bit of ESPN last night (the Jordan documentary) becasue nothing else was on. Subjected to that shit about 40 times from their talking heads. "Sports will be back... until then, stay inside..." Oh FUCK YOU.
And now that demented fuckdrizzle Fauci is going to get his day in the sun to spread his (erroneous, bullshit) fearmongering led on by America-hating democrat shitburglers.
I have no idea what he'll say but here's what I anticipate:
1) We need to hunker down and hide or it's going to get worse!!!!!
2) Medical system is OVERWHELMED!!! (Lie, lie, lie)
3) We're not there yet with a vaccine, but if everybody will hide in their homes for another six to eight months we might get it done!!!!
Man, fuck that clown. He's a fucking death crow.
Say what you will about me, but I've come to the conclusion that "Corona, COVID or whatever" simply doesn't exist.

Also, for the pussies.
And especially for the old pussies (i.e. snags).
If you "have it" and have no symptons, do you really "have it"?Since you can have any number of conditions and diseases while being asymptomatic then I would say yes. You really have it. And can pass it on until it gets to the nursing home and kills around 19 folks like it did in Mobile.

I don't agree. There is still a pandemic going on, people. No more than 25 looters at a time in a store, please. And don't forget those masks. You could get choked by the smoke as you are squirting lighter fluid on that small businesses furniture.

And that if it really came from China?
I do not get it. Sure, I have brain issues but I’m not an fucking moran.

Questions
As has been stated, the miners' samples were sent to WIV for SARS Ab testing (7, 9), the same institute that also conducted surveillance of the bat coronaviruses in the Mojiang mineshaft (10). The link between the SARS-like CoV (4991/RaTG13) from mine where lethal pneumonia cases occurred, has not yet been discussed in scientific papers by the WIV laboratory before February 2020. We are curious to know what kind of samples the WIV received from the Mojiang miners, along with other questions, such as whether the samples are still stored in WIV, and whether they are available for study by other researchers. It would also be of particular value to know whether any viruses were isolated and if there is any DNA/RNA available from these samples. It would also be useful to know if PCR was performed on the miners' samples and available sequences. According to Huang's Ph.D. thesis, four miners tested positive in an Ab test against SARS-like CoV (Supplementary Material). However, further questions remain as to which antigen was used for the Ab detection in the pneumonia patients and what was the exact protocol used. Why is this information not available in any of the seroprevalence studies by WIV? Why were the severe pneumonia cases in 2012 not mentioned in any of the WIV publications before 2020? Were any SARS-like CoV isolated from the bat fecal samples collected in 2012–13? Why were the Mojiang miners pneumonia cases in 2012 not reported to any public health agency like the WHO? Why did programs like PREDICT not mention the lethal pneumonia cases as a mini-outbreak? Was the mineshaft in Mojiang closed, when? According to the literature, three research groups went to the Mojiang mine to collect samples between 2012 and October 2014 (5, 9, 10). The mine was promptly closed as per the (2). Why was the Mojiang mine being visited by researchers until October 2014? Questions also remain as to why Dr. Shi attributed the outbreak in Mojiang to a fungus in the interview with Scientific American. Was the mine open for researchers and were any samples brought after 2014? Did any of the researchers who visited the Mojiang mineshaft get infected by any coronavirus between 2012 and 2019? Are there any whole genome sequences available for SARS-like CoV originating from this mine? Why is the pathogen database (http://www.viruses.nsdc.cn/chinavpi/) associated with the project (2013FY113500) (10) not accessible anymore?
Conclusions
The striking similarities between the Mojiang pneumonia cases and COVID-19 are noteworthy, as is the fact that RaTG13/CoV4991, the next genomic relative of SARS-CoV-2 was found in the same mineshaft. The Master's thesis by Li Xu concludes that the pneumonia-illness in the miners was due to a SARS-like CoV from horseshoe bats. The remote consultation and diagnosis by a prominent pulmonologist in China, Dr. Nanshan, adds credibility to the diagnosis of the pneumonia cases in 2012. Although we cannot say that RaTG13 or SARS-CoV-2 infected the miners, there is a high chance that it could be a virus quite similar in genetic composition to these two. The coincidence between the 2012 illness in Mojiang miners, the subsequent samplings, and finding the nearest SARS-CoV-2 relative from this single mine warrants further inquiry, and the data along with the full history of this incident would be invaluable in the context of the current pandemic.

Conclusion: The data support that the C-to-U conversion played a significant role in the evolution of pathogenic RNA coronaviruses including SARS-COV-2. These mutations apparently also influenced amino acid composition of the SARS-Cov-2 spike protein domain receptor implicated in virus pathogenicity. We propose that SARS-COV-2 was evolving relatively long in humans following the transfer from animals before spreading world-wide.

Engineered bat virus stirs debate over risky research
Lab-made coronavirus related to SARS can infect human cells.

Near Shitou Cave, for example, many villages sprawl among the lush hillsides in a region known for its roses, oranges, walnuts and hawthorn berries. In October 2015 Shi’s team collected blood samples from more than 200 residents in four of those villages. It found that six people, or nearly 3 percent, carried antibodies against SARS-like coronaviruses from bats—even though none of them had handled wildlife or reported SARS-like or other pneumonialike symptoms. Only one had traveled outside of Yunnan prior to the sampling, and all said they had seen bats flying in their village.
Three years earlier Shi’s team had been called in to investigate the virus profile of a mine shaft in Yunnan’s mountainous Mojiang County—famous for its fermented Pu’er tea—where six miners suffered from pneumonialike diseases and two died. After sampling the cave for a year, the researchers discovered a diverse group of coronaviruses in six bat species. In many cases, multiple viral strains had infected a single animal, turning it into a flying factory for new viruses.
On the train back to Wuhan on December 30 last year, Shi and her colleagues discussed ways to immediately start testing the patients’ samples. In the following weeks—the most intense and the most stressful time of her life—China’s bat woman felt she was fighting a battle in her worst nightmare, even though it was one she had been preparing for over the past 16 years. Using a technique called polymerase chain reaction, which can detect a virus by amplifying its genetic material, the team found that samples from five of seven patients had genetic sequences present in all coronaviruses.
Shi instructed her group to repeat the tests and, at the same time, sent the samples to another facility to sequence the full viral genomes. Meanwhile she frantically went through her own lab’s records from the past few years to check for any mishandling of experimental materials, especially during disposal. Shi breathed a sigh of relief when the results came back: none of the sequences matched those of the viruses her team had sampled from bat caves. “That really took a load off my mind,†she says. “I had not slept a wink for days.â€
By January 7 the Wuhan team had determined that the new virus had indeed caused the disease those patients suffered—a conclusion based on results from analyses using polymerase chain reaction, full genome sequencing, antibody tests of blood samples and the virus’s ability to infect human lung cells in a petri dish. The genomic sequence of the virus, eventually named SARS-CoV-2, was 96 percent identical to that of a coronavirus the researchers had identified in horseshoe bats in Yunnan. Their results appeared in a paper published online on February 3 in Nature. “It’s crystal clear that bats, once again, are the natural reservoir,†says Daszak, who was not involved in the study
